Much better characters than the kdrama, written with so much depth, especially Reina. Such a great character, and a vast improvement over the kdrama counterpart. A clear portrayal of her motivations, insecurities and the obsessive black hole of hate that she became, with all of her spite directed towards the FL throughout her entire life, who ironically was one of the few people consistently kind towards Reina. Has to be one of the greatest haters in jdrama/kdrama history lol. And such a brilliant performance by Shiraishi Sei, she is so good with her facial expressions, there were so many scenes where the camera was just zoomed into her face and just sat there letting her do her thing.
While the pacing got a little weird towards the end as most of the major plot points were already resolved by episode 7 or so, Reina just kept me captivated.

That toxic rotting family where noone is honest with each other with those deeply unhappy parents was so real, there is no 'scene' that can fix it or redeem them, loved that scene and in general the portrayal of fl and how her issues came to be.
Even though this show is so light hearted, it tackled difficult issues in a really mature way, super rare for a kdrama. The 'drama' in this show felt like it arose naturally, the characters were treated with respect and it didn't feel like they were exploited to milk drama. Probably my favorite show of 2025 along with Atypical Family.

for any isekai second life type stuff you can basically fast forward until the reincarnation part as thats where things actually start

First episode was great but that female highschooler is way out of line with those comments on parents of that other kid, hope the show doesn't just handwave such behavior away and she gets whats coming to her later on
