We got tons of clue and information?? but forget about it, I think you’re overlooking the depth of the subplots.…
now you’re being nitpicking

Its doesn’t makes any sense to like introduce all characters in 1 ep especially when those characters are deeply influenced the plot?? What are we gonna do with the rest of the show 😂☠️

The problem with BL writers is it’s not their full time job and they don’t understand the three acts. 1. Set…
We got tons of clue and information?? but forget about it, I think you’re overlooking the depth of the subplots. They trying to avoid info dumping and trusts the audience to find the clues through action and subtext. Not to mention the beauty in the cultural details and the way the cinematography fills in the blanks. Not every story is a 1 track mission, you have to leave room for the romance and the subplots that make the world feel real.

If you prefer a traditional 3 acts sprint, this might not be for you, but that doesn't mean the writing is flawed. it’s just delicate

ep 3 was interesting, unlike Ep 1 and 2, so I will see further episodes of where this is going, also as a fan…
The ost is performed by JJ himself

can anyone explain why the servants has blackish color teeth it just look weird to me is it because how servants…
It’s from chewing betel nuts. It’s like drinking coffee every day for 50 years. The juice from the nut stains the teeth permanently. Back then it’s also considered a fashion, people back then actually spent time and effort to make them black.

But I guess they give lead actors white teeth to match today's beauty standards

The rating going up to 8 as how it should be👏

Ep 3 brings even more tension to the story. I was blown away with how JJ portraying Klao, all the pain and the frustration, he’s acting is just so good not to mention that he also have to be Klao instead of Nakhun, his demeanor, especially how he speak man I’m so impressed with this kid. JJ is Klao and JJ is Nakhun, he could balance the serious shifts in the tone of the show with the comedy where he’s so adorably funny some scene almost took me out XD

also the actor who plays Klao’s father(Captain Phutanate), he’s a well-known veteran thai actor since 90s and in this ep even though in such a short period he has done his part flawlessly and I can’t talk enough about how I’m in love with the casting, JJ and Captain even look similar 😭

The first 2ep may be a bit chaotic but it perfectly captures the panic and devastation of the main character!!…

JJ is such a remarkable actor, I’m surprised since he’s considered a rookie? His acting is just so good

I mean, if you find the story or narration boring, that’s totally fine....it just means it’s not your cup…
The actors you think are being discriminated against are actually fair-skinned actors in makeup. In Thai period dramas, servants are depicted with darker skin because they represent the historical reality of the working class who labored outdoors. It’s a production choice for occupational realism, not a ban on a race.

Look at Apo who is one of the biggest stars in the country and globally. He has naturally tan skin, play lead roles, and the Thai public is absolutely enamored by him. Not to mention Net in this series in leading role who also have tan skin. At the same time, you have lead actors like JJ, who has been naturally light-skinned since birth. This isn't 'exclusion' or a 'dictatorship' beauty standard. It is Thailand’s actual natural diversity. We have a full spectrum of skin tones, and we celebrate all of them in our leads.

Also, your claim that the whole country is incapable of serious thought because of the government is a lazy stereotype. To call an entire culture 'superficial' just because it doesn't fit your specific criteria for 'seriousness' says more about your biases than it does about our industry.

Is it just me or someone else think the same thing. This series looks like "The most beautiful count"...
Except that it looks like this show will be adored by Thai fans, unlike the adaptation of The Most Beautiful Count, which deserved all the backlash it received.
