It is so frustrating to watch the FL constantly lie about her true feelings for the ML, causing him to constantly misunderstand her. Qingyi is going through so much, yet he remains entirely devoted to Ren SuSu and always forgives her. .. She genuinely loves him and only wants to protect him (her stepping in to take his beating in episode 23 was incredibly admirable). Yet, she constantly ends up treating him poorly, leaving him more confused than ever.

The first episodes were honestly painful to get through... but after that? It only got better and better! So glad I didn't drop it!

I've only watched episode 1 so far, and maybe it's just me, but the thing that's stood out the most is the music. It feels a bit overused, and the transitions between tracks don't always flow naturally, which sometimes makes it harder for me to stay immersed in what's happening. At times it almost feels like I'm watching a musical lol Does this change as it goes on, or does it stay pretty much the same?

Same here! I used to be really into K-dramas and could barely get into C-dramas (there were only a few I liked), but lately it’s completely flipped.

whaaaat? it didn't look like that at all....There are some dramas, especially Chinese ones, that I really enjoy, but I have to admit the male lead can come across as a bit pushy toward the female lead at first. That’s not the case here at all, though.
