you can forgive yourself for not being true to yourself and choose to leave and break a toxic cycle at the same time. it would be stubborn at YR part to still persue JP. him keeping her around did hurt her for 7 years cause she couldnt move on. the "safe" option is her realising some feelings are better to let go. not every love needs to be confessed and reciprocated.
