Have people truly enjoyed this show? I can’t get past ep.5 the story is very repetitive with “girl disguised as a male” troop. And no other interesting aspects to the story. Such a good cast wasted on such a story.

Hmmm interesting! I already got suspicious when someone pulled CGH as he was running away from the villagers.

It’s all over the place in the last episodes 💀💀

Not perse angered me for his role, he is not even a great/smart villain. It’s more like I’m annoyed that a lot of the drama time has been wasted on him 💀 I’m skipping most of his scenes lately.

CGH is the absolute waste of this drama. He doesn’t have any charisma, his presence and role don’t add any worth to the drama. At this point his role is just for rage bait and to drag the story without adding any depth to it.

I am on ep. 17 and my blood is already boiling because of the ml. He is such a selfish coward. His actions mostly happen out of guilt not love! He doesn’t truly care about her sufferings as he claims to, he just regrets what happens to her and takes actions and pleads to the supreme emperor after she has already went through the worst.
My girl is always there on her own, no one truly loved or cared for that innocent brave girl. The sister is also the worse. Only her friends have been loyal to her all the way and tried their best and took the risk to always save her (although they didn’t succeed) but they were willing to sacrifice everything to save her.

Ok I have decided to continue watching, and very glad I did!! I enjoyed the 2nd half from about ep14-15 of the drama wayy more. The first half felt a bit draggy for me and would have loved more focus on the second half . I am not saying that because they got together in the 2nd half, but rather due to the character development of the fl which I was so invested in her and her story, and the actress did so so well playing the role. Honestly can’t think of any other person who would pull off this role besides her. But yeah I loved how the story unfolded in the 2nd half. I loved it overall! And it’s waaay better than hidden love since it focuses on mature characters and romance which I as a viewer can resonate with more.


For those who loved this one, watch will love in spring. So heartwarming and nice with deep conversations.

Yeah I do understand it was not only for “cuteness or romance” although they pushed that element into the scenes. My point was related to repeating the sleepwalking scene several times, although it was clear from the first time what the intention behind it was. I do not necessarily want them to confess their love, because I do enjoy slow burn romance, I just thought up until ep13 there was no progress in any aspect of the drama besides them reuniting and living together.
Yeah I will put it on hold for some days and continue. Because it literally has all the themes and potential for me to love it, even the actors are adorable. Everyone is praising it as well so I do believe I should give it a try and continue it.

Yeah probably. I usually really like slowburn romance and prefer mature and healing dramas so I thought I would be very attached to this one, but unfortunately I’m not feeling it. Maybe because I’m not seeing the significance of repeating some actions. I will give a try to The best thing.

I do understand the first point, still not relevant why it has to be repeated for so many episodes? Also my comment is not about it being for romance, I do see that she went through a lot. But like I get she feels the most secure with him and he is always there for her from the first time, no need to repeat the same scene after every incident she encounters and every night.

As for the 2nd point, yes I also understand her character but it doesn’t remove the fact that the show is draggy. It’s a drama not a daily vlog, so some events need to be happening somehow.

My issue is not with the characters or the struggles etc. I just find it unnecessary that there is no progress at all up until ep13 and still dragging around the same repeated actions.

I have seen mature romance which I prefer as well, however, I believe the issue here is it being draggy. It’s taking too long to progress anything even sitting down and having a proper conversation.

THANK YOU! thought I was the only one struggling, like I’m on ep 13 but I’m so bored 🥹. I didn’t continue hidden love cause the story made me a bit uncomfortable and the fl still acting as a child even when they got together also was not it for me.

But yeah the only hype worthy thing about this drama is the actor and actress who play the roles.

I like the main leads. However, this drama is not getting me hooked whatsoever. It’s very draggy and repetitive in my opinion. I’m on ep 13 and it’s been 5 episodes of her just sleepwalking and hugging him while sleepwalking, then waking up to him having food prepared for her. Like I understand the relationship is cute, the chemistry is there, I’m just not sure about the plot or why it has to be so long?
I am more interested in the story of the second couple but they only appear briefly, the rest is me watching the scenes I have described above. The sleepwalking was heart fluttering the 1st, 2nd time too maybe but EVERYDAY?? With no progress or clearing up past misunderstandings and communicating like real adults?? Hmm not sure if I will continue.

So some comments here think that she emotionally cheated on him, just because she was enjoying some attention from a guy she would coincidentally run into (not looking for him on purpose), especially at times when she felt that her feelings were being neglected and invalidated by her husband and his family. But you are telling me that you are not seeing the actual issue that he was literally getting closer to that colleague, skipping his wife for her, and lying to his wife about her, and going back to her place when he is drunk when he knows she likes him, to “turn her down”!?

I honestly don’t understand the hype about this show. It’s so draggy. The comedy is not that great. The mystery part is not getting me hooked. I have tried to watch it 2 times but failed to get past ep. 6

Th drama would have been great if it wasn’t for the fl’s character. She was so unreasonable with her dad young version. She was slow in all events and not of any help. She annoyed me the most, and sometimes even her acting was lacking.

I understand your frustration with her excuse and not coming to her senses until her friend brought it up. BUT I think that’s why it’s a great drama! It also shows you the importance of the quality of people you choose in your life including friends that will guide you in such moments and bring you back to your senses. She is also a human, and she said that out of anxiety she didn’t know what to say in that moment that’s why she said what she said. We all make mistakes and she acknowledged her mistake and apologized for it. She also fainted because she was holding too much inside not as an act. And I don’t think it will be suitable for such a short drama to drag issues, because in every episode there is a new thing unpacking.

I think the point was that she isn’t a teenager anymore that would do impulsive decisions out of love because that will not put bread on the table and that she treasures her career and achievements so much. That’s why she can’t leave it behind because she won’t find the same opportunities in their small town.
