Phew that was a rollercoaster.

Anyway I am happy for all the couples.
My parents WK and JH are back together 🙏🏻 honestly they suit each other and just need to communicate more.

WJ and JY is the least couple I was interested in but they’re back together (as I expected from day 1) and I am happy for them.

NOW, BK and YY, I knew they were going to choose each other but I am still not convinced that BK is that interested in her romantically. He still has a lot of unresolved emotions for his ex that can be triggered any second of the day and he should get over them first. But well, they’re adults they should know how to deal with their emotions. Hopefully YY receives the love she deserves.

I am really happy for YS and HJ, my girl was confused earlier on in the show but she was so interested in YS. Same for her, I think maybe due to the deep connection she had with BK she also had some yearning or unresolved emotions for him. But glad she decided to move on. Even though her 2nd ex was maybe the most suitable at this stage if she wanted to get married. But that man, idk, he doesn’t give me good vibes and I think she wasn’t very comfortable with him as well. She and YS did the right thing by choosing each other, because they will never know if they don’t try and suddenly leave this interest midway. The outcome doesn’t matter here really, what matters is that their interest was so strong that it pushed them to move forward from the past.

I don’t get why YS is so hated, the guy was clear about his interest even in front of his ex, he didn’t hide his interest towards HJ. He just couldn’t ignore his ex’s feelings while seeing her cry the whole time considering their long relationship.

MK, I have many comments on this girl but I’m gonna keep it to myself for now.

I am still at ep 16 and that’s my perspective so far. He went there to ask her after he had the talk with YS and were both talking about how she told both of them that she liked them both and were confused. When they went to her room, BH asked her about why she would say that and she said it’s true and I decided to move on. Then in the next scene she was touching his leg and saying YN stole you from me and he said No, you let me go. So up until this episode I don’t see how he confused her? Because that’s literally what happened. And even the judges were determined that he likes YN because his actions point at that.

Although I don’t think he likes YN and he still loves his ex and that’s why he gets swayed everytime she does something and she knows that, and is using it to confuse him.

Well it doesn’t change the fact that she is toxic and is confusing all 3 of them. She told YS he is the one she is interested in during the date in Japan. Then on the same day she literally told BH “sorry that I have confused you because I was confused myself when I told you I like you two days ago but now my thoughts are clear and I have moved on”. Just to tell him in the next scene “YN stole you from me” and flirt with him to confuse him further.

I think she doesn’t know what she wants and wants all 3 of them to choose her.

I like her, but she is worth much more than her actions and she should know that.

I am at ep9 but wow, some of the participants of this season are TOXIC af.

Hyun ji is the master manipulator for now, she is annoyed by her ex talking to other girls but once she is asked about wanting to go back to him she says she is not sure. Seems like she wants him to pursue her to feel good but she is not particularly interested in him.

Her ex on the other hand, baekhyun, is a child who also doesn’t know what he wants and he is obviously using YN to pretend that he doesn’t care about his ex when in fact he cares a lot about what his ex wants and how she sees him and every action he does is to grab his ex’s attention. So yeah he is using that poor girl for his own benefit when he doesn’t really have any romantic feelings/interest towards her (YN).

The 3rd remarkable toxic character is MK, she was interested in getting to know other people, but when her ex started pursing other people, she is mad because he is giving her hard time. Like both her and hyun ji have similar characteristics and both want their ex’s attention to be drawn to them but it’s okay for them to be interested in other people.

I like ji hyeon.

I don’t know how it will go from now on, but yeah that’s my observation so far up until ep9.

Huh?? He only knew about his original plan after he confessed his feelings to her and been in love with her all this time and fighting everyone else to win her over

There are so many small holes in the drama that would’ve made it much better

I’m on ep 17 and MY GOSH that Xi Yang is such an annoying, selfish, slow-witted character.

Hope she meets karma soon for the betrayal of her country, brother, and father who actually treated her extremely well.

I’m not against Jaepil. I am happy with whoever she ends up with as long as she is happy. But I think you are twisting the dynamics that Koreans go by. It’s normal for them to call each other names to tease each other and especially coming from close people. junghyun is very close to the family so nobody was bothered by that, why are you so bothered? It’s just a drama at the end of the day we don’t have to get very worked up for events that won’t be changed even if we get mad. So, let’s just enjoy the drama as it is I would love to see Yeongrye with who she is at ease and happy with the most

He isn’t. People just like the other characters better so they are trying to force flaws into him. I want Junghyun and Yeongrye to end up together because it feels more stable for Yeongrye, but Jaepil is not wrong with anything that he has done.

Even now that he didn’t confess to Yeongrye, it’s natural. They’re best friends now, and confessing to your best friend is the hardest because they might not like you back and you may lose them as a lover and a friend if you confess. He confessed very fast with Jonghee because he was young and he liked her as a stranger getting to know a stranger. However, with Yeongrye, it’s feelings that have developed over time and by going through ups and downs together which we can call “love” not just “liking someone”, and that’s why he can’t confess just yet, especially that he doesn’t know Yeongrye’s feelings.

Yeah maybe it’s just you because they look surprisingly very good together and even these cliches looked natural between them. They have a very strong spark I must say which is why I couldn’t see it from your point of view, because it has in fact convinced me that their bond is strong.

I think the scenes they pushed are trying to tell you in summary what happened in those 7 years and how close jp and yr got to the point of understanding each other even when it comes to food habits. Not necessarily in a romantic way, rather, to portray the strong bond they have formed in these past years. Because obviously they are still not together as a couple so they might start showing now how the romance develops so you don’t feel like it came out of nowhere, but instead link it to the strong bond they have formed after these years.

To me it’s the thrill of “not knowing” what’s going on and who will end up with who and who will lose/gain interest in who is what’s keeping me hooked. And most of the characters are delivering great performance.

I think he acts childish only around her to make it fun to her? If you look at his other scenes they show you that he is very caring for her. And that’s what she needs after taking care of her family, someone who takes care of her. Sangcheol is not that type so I don’t think she will end up with him.

Well it’s a slice of life, nothing is supposed to happen there. Just a punch of people living their lives. Maybe it’s not the genre for you.

I don’t think the brother’s friend likes JH but YR. And SC is the sweetest boy but in my opinion, he is not a good match for her and her sufferings. She needs someone mature who will take care of her and who she can lean on him like the brother’s friend. So I hope that would be the end game tbh.

No I understand the frustration and I felt bad for her as well since she is my favorite character on the show and she portrays her feelings very weel. But I believe that it’s because we’re watching her pov and know about her feelings that some people started to dislike Jaepil.

What you said should also be applicable to Sangcheol then because he keeps flirting with his friend’s date. A date doesn’t mean a relationship and nothing romantical has been said yet. Haven’t watched ep4 yet so I can’t judge, but based on the “random setting” of their dates it’s very normal that he likes another girl more like he is not obligated to stick to Yeongrye if he doesn’t like her (based on the random slection) and since she didn’t show any interest and the other one seemed like she cared, I understand where his admiration is coming from.

I just finished ep.3 and not sure why everyone is hating on Jaepil? The dude did nothing wrong. There were no hints or moves from Yeongrye so how could he understand her feelings for him? And everyone is impressed by Jonghui’s beauty and strong personality, she made a move (even if not intentional) at the right time and expressed that she cared for him, and that for sure hit a soft spot in his heart since he had suffered from abuse and JH told him that she was scared for him after being beaten up.

So not sure why everyone is hating on him when he did nothing wrong. And if you assume that he was her date on the random selection they had at the group date, then Sangcheol had already showen interest in Yeongrye although she was his friend’s date.

Moreover, I found it weirder that Jonghui told Jaepil that she was scared something will happen to him when he asked her why she did it (because that was what really sparked his interest in her) even though she knew Yeongrye had interest in Jaepil when she asked her on the notebook in the classroom.

But let’s see how this unfolds. I like the story and think it’s a realistic one that happens often, even though people hate to admit it.
