Sota's acting was fine, but the fl (no hate to her) really couldn't live up to Jun Ji Hyun or Janice Wu. It was fine but not really as captivating as My Love From the Stars or My Amazing Boyfriend (the best version imo). If you are a huge Sota Fukushi fan like me then I'd say give it a shot but I ended up dropping it anyways.

No but we can assume it isnât Baek Yi Jin, it was whoever Heedo married. Minchae knows her father and never mentioned recognizing anyone from Heedoâs diaryâs so we can assume it isnât anyone we saw in the drama
What really gets me is that if they wanted to show that first love doesnât always last forever they should have done that with Yurim and Ji Woong. That would at least make sense, they would grow apart because she went to Russia, he found his way and figured out how to live for himself etc. But what really made the ending of Heedo and Yijin unbearable for me is the fact that they had, in my opinion, a much deeper connection that transcends even the word love itself, yet we are supposed to believe that they let go? After we watched them reach for each other through all hardship for 16 episodes? Doesnât make sense. If they want to show first love isnât forever that you can outgrow relationships and people and that you can move on and to put yourself first they really could have gone a different and much better route.
On a lighter note I know that a lot of K-pop idols were watching this drama so I wonder what their reactions were to the ending. I imagine riots at the SM and JYP dorms lol
I love Byun Yohan and Go Bo Gyeol so Iâm stoked that they have a drama coming out togetherđ the plot also seems really original and intriguing so I will wait for updates on this!

I doubt weâd get one but I think Maybe a reboot would be interesting like the same cast and age gap but maybe Heedo would be older than Yi Jin and it could take place at a different time instead of the IMF crisis. I think it would be cool if they translated the magic of this season into creating a new story but minus that bogus ending
Final Theory: Kim Min Chae is Yurim and some other guys daughter (that she met in Russia) and she knows that Heedo is not her biological mom. Iâm assuming Yurim passed or something else happened to her. Min Chaseâs fathers name is Kim and he is currently in the US. Baek Yi Jin and Heedo may not be together at the moment but that doesnât mean they werenât together in the past or wonât be together again Iâm the end. I really believe this theory because Min Chae also has an interest in Ballet and Russia is the most popular place for Ballet and it would be a parallel to how Heedo learned fencing in France.
