I doubt we’d get one but I think
Maybe a reboot would be interesting like the same cast and age gap but maybe Heedo would be older than Yi Jin and it could take place at a different time instead of the IMF crisis. I think it would be cool if they translated the magic of this season into creating a new story but minus that bogus ending

For some reason after the ending all I can think about is Beautiful Goodbye by Chen lol but this ending was definitely not it for me

Final Theory: Kim Min Chae is Yurim and some other guys daughter (that she met in Russia) and she knows that Heedo is not her biological mom. I’m assuming Yurim passed or something else happened to her. Min Chase’s fathers name is Kim and he is currently in the US. Baek Yi Jin and Heedo may not be together at the moment but that doesn’t mean they weren’t together in the past or won’t be together again I’m the end. I really believe this theory because Min Chae also has an interest in Ballet and Russia is the most popular place for Ballet and it would be a parallel to how Heedo learned fencing in France.

Same I had to stop and walk around my room because it got me so hype and then I watched it a few more times kicking my feet and squealing lol. That’s what this drama does to me so you are definitely not alone

I had to keep rewinding that part it killed me. Baek Yi Jin is really perfect boyfriend material

Some thoughts about this episode:
I like how we see Heedo repeat a lot of the clothing pieces we’ve seen before, it really makes the drama more realistic because it’s a bit impractical for a high school athlete to have a different coordinated look every time
we see them outside of school

I never had trouble viewing Kim Taeri as a teenager but the scene where she is bowing beside her mom and she’s taller than her was so weird to me lol. I guess Yijin is just so tall she’s looks so tiny next to him 🥺

The way Yijin knocked his head against Heedo’s head was so cute. All of their interactions were. Idk why people are still acting like he’s some predator when he’s never made any sexual advances towards her like he hasn’t even tried to kiss her. He knows he loves her and it doesn’t matter to him what form that love takes as long as he can be around her and protect her.

All of their interactions were so cute like he took her to a nice restaurant, put in the matching hair clip (weightlifting fairy reference lol) and said the pencil case was special to him 😁 Baek Yi Jin is really the ideal man.

Now I’m curious about what will happen with Seung Wan because I think it’s hinted that she has some sort of unresolved feelings for Ji Woong but he is with Yurim now so it seems like it would be a bit rushed to try and get them together now.

Also I think it’s hinted at that Heedo’s dad may have cheated on her mom, perhaps with the coach? I’m not sure though I just feel like it’s being implied ever since the coach and the moms first meeting.

Lastly I’m just ignoring the present scenes and blindly hoping for a happy ending. I actually don’t think my heart can take it if I don’t. Hopefully next episode we still get to see some happy scenes before things fall apart and hopefully by the end they all fall back together again.

Same! You’re definitely not alone. I think I noticed their connection in the early episodes too, maybe the actors just have great chemistry. But with everything up in the air and not looking too optimistic for Heedo and Yi Jin I hope at least the other characters get happy endings

Also how is the reply series? I’ve heard there is really bad second lead syndrome which is what makes me hesitate but I really like Seo In Guk And Go Kyung Pyo so I was considering watching

Does anyone else ship Ji Woong and Seung Wan? Idk their scenes together just give me that friends to lovers energy that Baek Yi Jin and Hee do have, like idk it just hits ✨different✨. I really do think Ji Woong is only infatuated with Yu Rim because he always seems to be trying to hard with her and with Seung Wan it’s like she sees who he really is. Either way I just want happiness for Seung Wan because she deserves the world🌈

I think it happened overtime but I think she really made her way into his heart after the night club when she yelled she was going to Taeyang high school, his smile said it all. I’m not saying he liked her romantically but after that he knew she was going to be a part of his life but he didn’t know how big just yet.

Or he fell for her after seeing all her spelling mistakes on the Full House comic😩😂

Ikr like I just expect to have my heart ripped out but I don’t want to because then when I rewatch I’ll cry even at the happy parts and be sad 😔

Idk I’ve seen bigger gaps in logic in Kdramas (CLOY 😂) that this actually could make sense. ‘Heedo’ also says she made Korean fencing history and Yurim could have too. The only thing that gets me is the scene with her moms wedding rings

That’s what I’ve been doing like the present scenes are really depressing I wish the episodes were just the past so we could have a happy ending without waiting 20+ years
