This was so much better than I expected! It was done really well and had such cute/funny moments that were timed so well, something Lee Seung Gi excels in. It's good to have him back, and lets just say that sneak peak at his bod makes you appreciate his time in the army! Definitely watch this, it had the right amount of humour, romance and plot to keep you wonderfully entertained.

Can't seem to find a reason to continue after ep 26, everything is basicaly rinse and repeat x100. You only really need to watch this drama till 26 and just assume it ends there because I don't personally feel anything that has already happened will just happen again. It's a shame cause the main leads are extremely cute together and have great chemistry.

A lot of stiff acting, awkwardly written scenes and seriously the weirdest pacing I have seen in a drama. I feel like different writers wrote parts of it, a few directors shot this drama and various editors put it together to give us something that has been sloppily stitched together. The fluff is very sweet and it's still got very cute moments so it gets a 6.5 because it did manage to hold my interest despite all its failings.

Great article. I don't think I have met a woman yet who doesn't have some form of a #metoo story and isn't that just the saddest thing?
There are so many famous males who step away for a while only to continue back in the limelight as if nothing happened e.g. Johnny Depp with assaulting his partner, Roman Polanski raping an underage girl and in our own dramaland backyard...Park Shi Hoo and his rape allegation but he's back in acting and his drama's not doing too bad (where the whole case was handled so shadily in favour to him...and this is speaking as a previous serious fan girl).

"Or even touching a persons shoulders could be seen as sexual harassment." Women touch men shoulders a lot, though.…
I'm a very physically affectionate (in a platonic sense) person naturally and will welcome hugs even from strangers but I have also developed a keen sense for whether someone feels uncomfortable and prefers not to be touched. If someone doesn't like skinship it shows very obviously and even if it doesn't it isn't difficult to ask for consent even for something simple as a hug or touching a shoulder. You just need to observe the other person and respect their comfort levels. I refuse to believe the argument that the #metoo #timesup movement is making it harder for a relationship between men and women. If anything it should make it easier because both parties can feel more empowered to voice their discomfort. There is no reason for your actions to make someone else feel any kind of discomfort.

That's so sad. I always wondered where he went and even though you see him here and there it's not the same. I hope he starts feeling better after raising awareness about it.

And a piggy back ride means you have to get married.

First saw him in Smile, You (one of my all time favs). I seriously adore this guy! I think I have rewatched falling for innocence 4 times now just cause he is in it and does such a good job in what could have been your typical rom-com.

The friendship in this drama is so adorable between the three female leads. For once women aren't shown to be jealous, backstabbing or insecure about each other. They are just really good friends who want to support each other and that was really good to watch. However for me there wasn't much happening in the drama throughout the middle part, it was all a little childish (which is to be fair what the writers were going for) yet mixed with very serious issues and the two didn't mesh well for me. It really only picked up after at ep 10 and things were more interesting from then on.

I agree with everyone else that Soo Gyum and Jung Hye had pretty strong chemistry, I hope they do another drama together with a different plot line!

King2Hearts! Such a brilliant drama and written so well in terms of political realness. I adore everything except the heartbreak it made me feel.

Gonna c+p what I replied above:

I don't disagree that it was out of the blue, even the grandma said once that he had abused his body too much and there were a lot hints along the way. I just think the writer could have done something a little different because of the way the drama was written. I felt like a potentially interesting plot which had been developing with him hearing voices would have been less cliche...something along the lines of It's Okay, That's Love maybe.

It is a wonderful drama and I enjoyed it regardless! I do wish more time was spent on the happy ending as well, but at the same time it left you satisfied but longing and that's a rare thing to achieve so that's pretty amazing of the writer/production team as well!

Props to the writer for not making the "bad guys" just evil people with no morals. Both the actors who played the director siblings have played second lead/evil guy roles before that have been run of the mill standard bland antagonists. Here they were shown in a different light, with their own demons to fight with and each reaching their own happy conclusion. The brother who could never handle his position was finally set free from his own "prison" and the sister who was more capable develops into her own strong female character (and it's interesting cause she doesn't start like that). I loved that she was the only one who the writer didn't hint a romance too but was instead focused on building a better company with better ethics.

The weakest character in this drama for me was Seo Joo Won, I felt like the writer didn't really know what to do with him towards the second half of the drama but, his body was wonderful eye candy so I did not mind!

The reason this drama didn't get a 10 from me was because I thought Gong Doo's illness was a little bit of a cop out from the writer. They already had a really good thing with the voice in his head/mental trauma he endured and should have gone down that road instead of the liver disease. If Jun Ho's acting wasn't so convincing I would have actually given the drama an 8 instead of a 9.5 because of the cliched disease plot line.

Everything about this drama was wonderfully balanced. From the first episode it grabs you and doesn't let go till the very last second. The script, the embedded lessons, the acting, the directing, the cinematography, the story, everything was balanced delicately. Scenes that could have easily become OTT were done just right, even the kiss scenes were intense but delicate. It's hard not to gush about this drama because it was so well crafted, you really get to see each character's pain after an accident and how each one struggles to survive and try to continue living. It's one of the few dramas that has made me feel so much for every side character, not just the main leads.

Even though everyone in the cast did an amazing job, Jun Ho really really stands out in this drama. His face is extremely expressive and I could not separate the actor from the character. I thought he would not be able to do well in weak/vulnerable scenes as his character was so intense in the beginning but he was brilliant in even those. I can't believe how little he has acted before this and can't wait to see more of him on screen. I don't listen that much to kpop so I haven't really paid attention to anything 2PM does but they have been hiding this gem of an actor and we need to see more of him in dramaland! He truly made me believe he was Gang Doo and not someone playing a role.

The thing that stood out to me from the first episode was the OST. Whoever the musical director was they used music to their advantage really well. The OST engages the audience during the silent moments of the dramas and emphasises the point the writer wants to make without using clumsy words.

Also, I noticed this is one of the few dramas where the female lead starts out depressed and becomes happier and more optimistic as her relationship with the male lead grows. Usually the female lead is bright and bubbly and becomes less so as the drama/relationship progresses. I quite liked that, it made it feel like the main leads really were happy together.

Tldr; the story was uplifting even though it was presented darkly, truly a metaphor for life. This is not one of the dramas you should skip watching.
