i was really starting to like this show but the passing is all over the place these last 2 episodes. things were super slow from 1-5 to the point of like lingering shots could have been cut out, and now things are happening so fast with little context between shots.

Having finished most of the book now. Yeah idk how they are gonna make this, if they stick with the book it would basically be porn. Well over half the novel is just pure smut. They would need to incorporate new plot elements to make this even remotely have some form of plot for a show

i started reading the novel yesturday, and i feel the same, hell it almost feels like denied love 2.0 in the amount of smut it has. id love for them to have a project that less smut and more story like "us" or pluto

shes able to identify a male being interested in her within the same hour, shes a college student, meaning shes not book dumb. they write her character like shes never seen a lesbian before, bruh she lives in Thailand. (her other friends are freshman to and arent nearly this naive, she) you can be naive TO A POINT. you act like criticism means i dont like the show, i do. her character doesn't make sense, im also not gonna assume shes neurodivergent until the show tells me thats a part of her character.

lol i never noticed it before until my second watch through on just how often becky is standing still or her shots are done above waist because of her broken leg lol. its kinda funny watching it now.

i really, really wish they would have dropped the new York plot point. I never liked it in the novel and always thought it was a really dump aspect of the story, they act like graphic designers don't exist in Thailand. pun absolutely could have done her job remotely, and ploy wouldn't have had to give up the career she had for 15 years

i love this series I really do. but my god please who ever directed the action scenes, please never do it again, like ever.
