starting this post by saying im still enjoying the show as a whole, but im really not sure why they turned what was relatively a light hearted, yes some times dramatic and deep, but ultimately romantic book into this. if they had just kept pace with what they did from ep 1-6 this would have been one of my all time favorite GL shows. im really not sure why they still have korn in this.

4e in general has been a disappointment for me. Except maybe earth. Its probably gonna be there last which makes this all the more disappointing

The action scenes are awful in this show. The girls dod their best with what they had but its awful action directing. They police have constantly been the most useless thing in this show. Grace really should've been explored alot more, she was actually interesting. They should have cut out one of the constant move and run locations and let us sit with lom and blew.

Okay no. Like really. Why tf would the cops just let her fire off 3 rounds? Why was she not shit multiple times already by the police. If your gonna do action scenes at least make it make sense.

Yeah i dont remember them having the "firs time they met" scene until a bit later. It does feel like they a re moving up the pacing and story. Especially not seeing neen's freidns feels almost odd

they other replies are correct about when it takes place, but so far they have changed some stuff around, especially the perspective, orms character is mostly the narator in the book, which seems to have drastically changed. So i expect alot more will change from the book as so far they have changed character attitudes and pacing.

I just realized that they basically are just playing themselves, orm is the heir to a multi million dollar family business that specializes in food. and Ling might not be from super wealthy origins was definitely middle class and up making her own wealth to.

as a short drama, its pretty cute, i already pay for their membership. ep1 and ep2 were cute. i look forward to more

right? EWB was a best selling gl novel, incredibly popular with 2 fucking special novels and a 3rd that was just released.

korns character is incredibly unneed at this point, they could have used something else to create drama. im so tired of "last episode they will be together" when in the book they basically already are at this point and it was still interesting.

true, and they normally do a pretty damn good job, i.e. thinking about Us, and Pluto they did a fantastic job changing the stories. but this one really didnt need to do that, plus the first 4 or 5 episodes followed the book pretty closely. idk why they changed it after those episodes

to be fair, earth for me was the only one with decent chemistry and even then i felt like it was still lacking, to me the whole 4e project just feels like it was one or two steps away from being something perfect and never reached that level. none of them were all that rememberable, water i take alot of issues with the pacing.

they changed soooo much from the books since episode 7 lol, idk why they decided to introduce this guy as having such a huge story line (hes brought up in the book but they move past him with emotional support) bringing him into the central story just seems like such an odd choice for whats mostly been almost a comedy

lol book plot line got thrown out the window i guess. we are so far gone from it, its hard to still call this the same story ( im still enjoying the show tho, i like it) but yeah not really the same story anymore

not gonna lie, the fact that this has a high chance of being becky's and freens last GL together, makes this show rather disappointing. its not inherently a bad show, but the repeated themes of pushing everything to the last episode and happy ending and giving us only 1 episode of being happy for all 3 series so far, is incredibly tiring. Get to a place, stay, get found, run, rinse and repeat, its almost every damn episode man.
