they significantly altered the plot here, most likely making it so sun and chan always new they had a sister, consider the book and the other show completely thrown out as they have already heavily altered the story at this point

Welp they are pulling another "us" with this one. And to make it clear, i am enjoying the show. But at this point its basically the name only. And some plot points. They have doverged significantly with the major plotpoints and character arcs and we are only 2 episodes in. I kinda wish they stuck with the novel on this one as i really enjoyed the novel. Emi and Bonnie are great as always, but i am not as excited for this story with its changes.

I have ended up enjoying this one more than the rest. And im a huge freenbecky fan. The fire story line is just more centered in realty and seems to have better pacing compared to the othe ones

in the behind the scenes Ai's actress wears a wig for all of her scenes except when she is Irene.

i think during the blindfold scene we see in the preview gen is gonna shut AI down. I think Irene is gonna be a ally to the two of them tho, i do wish we would get a thrupple ending ( i doubt we would tho)

They have to start filming almost right away. Both mew and june learned sign language. Unless this was planed along time ago jaoying isnt gonna have as much time to prep. This is also her first main role. Im not saying she wouldnt. My statement was implying i hope she goes into it wanting proper representation

Here is hoping jaoyngs puts the time and effort into learning sign language and workshops 🙏this story deserves good acting and dedication and good disability representation

orms acting has significantly improved over the years. her performance in the series is kinda carrying it for me tbh

them giving us background and flashbacks with rans mom (which didnt happen in the book) makes me feel like ch3 will cave and redeem her mom in the end.

tsou is ling and orms best show so far. there are cute moments in this show but very surface level writing. the writing doesnt improve, but they are cute together some times.

to be fair, the mother is like this in the book. but ling and orms characters have significantly more depth in the book, ch3 basically scraped their characters surface level. lings character lost ALOT of her defining character, orm became alot more forgiving compared to the book. The book delves into the actual reasoning between the twos hatred of eachother.

i was really hoping irene would swap places more often, so they could justify gen and irene being together in the end, but it feels like they are pushing for gen and ai to be the ending pair.

so far this has the strongest first episode out of all of the 4e's.

i normally adore CHANGE2561 productions. but songs character is writtens in such a dumb way that this might be the only gl they have that i dont enjoy
