Thank you! Finally someone said it. The whole foundation of ABO is that they are driven by instincts they can't always control. If viewers haven't done the basic reading on the trope before starting the series, that is entirely on them. When people get upset about the 'feral' behavior, they are basically ignoring the fundamental rules of the world the show has built. If you take away the knots, the ruts, and the animalistic side, you aren't really watching Omegaverse anymore; you're just watching a regular drama. If that's not your cup of tea, it really is just a matter of finding a different genre.

If you have read the original manhwa, Sun's (or Lee Yoohan's) lack of immediate warmth makes perfect sense. He is a former violent debt collector whose younger brother was fatally stabbed as a direct act of revenge against him. On top of that, his ex-boyfriend betrayed him and stole his money when he desperately needed it for his mother's medical treatment. He is deeply traumatized, carrying immense guilt, and completely closed off from the world. The "lack of chemistry" you are seeing is actually just accurate characterization of a guarded man whose only goal in entering Dream Entertainment is revenge.
