Agreed, I like LSY and understand that SEP's function is to provide Ra-el with a confidante and a link to her former life, but I don't find SEP interesting. I would have liked it more if Ra-el had a similar-aged female best friend to play that role instead. Apart from the R-18 scenes though, I think this script is a bit old school, which accounts for the bland SML, among some of the other writing choices.
