Over all disappointed

I had high expectations for this drama, but i was let down with a watered down story from the original and a lack luster ending.
The story: theres really nothing wrong with the story, I quite like the story because im a big fan of the webcomic, but the execution was just bad, so many unnecessary scenes and plot points that weren't in the webtoon, they changed the structure of the whole story in a way that makes it flow awkwardly and prevents any character development from happening.
The characters: The FM is just so annoying, shes a total push over all she does is cry and stare blankly into space shes honestly so annoying to watch, a far cry from the spunky, capable, witty and intellegint Sul from the webtoon who knows how to stand up for herself. Then we have the male leads who are just completely different from how they were in the webtoon, Inho is now this sad boy with no spunk to him just more like a sad kicked puppy, nothing like in the webtoon he has an explosive temper and a "dont care" attitude. And Jung, oh Jung, hes now just a weirdo whos actions dont make sense and does just a number of stupid things, he loses his sense of humor, his youthfulness, his intelligence and over all presence. The side characters are fine, except Inha who is just 10 times more annoying in this, I honestly cant stand her, but the casting for the rest of the side characters was pretty spot on.
The only thing that I truly like about this drama is the ost, ive listened to it so many times, and I specially like to listen to it when I study, I recommend you give it a listen.
I only watched this because the webtoon its based on (its actually my fav webtoon tbh), but it just watered down the story and the characters. This is just my opinion as a fan of the webtoon, so im pretty biased, but if you enjoyed it more power to you, its just not for me, if youre a fan of the webtoon I dont recommend this, but if youre not you might like it, idk.

Boring and long but still kinda fun

I started watching this drama by myself just on a whim while browsing Netflix, I stopped watching midway through because i got bored, I didn't find any of the characters very interesting and didn't care to see where the story was going. Then one day my friend who has no interest in k-dramas said she wanted to watch it because she was curious of why I enjoyed k-dramas, so i said why not.
Then it became more enjoyable because we just made fun of it together and criticized, our favorite character to make fun of was Chan Yeong, it was all his creepy advances to the Fm that we would always made fun of, its also worth pointing out how very clearly uncomfortable she is whenever he makes advances to her, an example being when he hugged her and she not hugging her back making it a very awkward moment and you can see shes clearly uncomfertable, we laughed a lot at that scene specially when they replayed it three times to make it more dramatic XD.
This show also shows how manipulative your superiors can be when it comes to work, and how they'll wanna take advantage of you, as seen with the president lady and ceo who make the characters compromise with their morals for a bottom line (music miming) we had good a conversation about having to draw boundaries when it comes to work. I liked the side characters, her two child hood friends who are always there for the FM, the manager lady and her love subplot with the led vocalist (i ship it) and the other crude play band members.
The music was overall pretty good, my friend specially liked "shiny boy" and jokingly said shes into k-pop know, the cinematography was also pretty good and the story and message weren't too bad.

Over all I wouldn't really recommend it, its just way too long, but if after reading this review you still wanna watch it be my guest. Id say I found it enjoyably nonetheless, my friend and I had a good time laughing at all the drama, and we now have a couple of inside jokes, and we constantly quote this drama all the time, my friend said she had fun but that she would not watch this or any other drama ever again, so make of that what you will.

Short, simple and to the point

I did not hate this drama, I didn’t exactly like it either, it was fine for what it was, and while not surpassing the original it still has its merits. As a fan of the original I have no gripes with it, well I do have some criticisms that also apply to the original but ill reserve those for my review of the original.
So first lets go into the things I liked; the length, I like how its short and to the point, it doesn’t drags on and it’s easy to watch, I liked the main leads, I really enjoyed the two side characters they added, they’re really fun to watch and have a lot of fun scenes, the songs where very nice, I really liked them.
Now for the things I didn’t like, it was too short, while this is a good thing so the drama doesn’t feel dragged out like in the original, it made it feel rushed in a lot of things, many things didn’t have as much of an in impact, it also lost a lot of the charm and awkwardness of high school that the original had, the side characters weren’t as good, mainly the two best friends, they had so much charm and personality in the original but they just don’t have it in this remake, the struggles of being at the verge of entering adulthood and having to go through high school and dealing with teachers and parents that is perfectly encapsulated in the original just isn’t here.
Over all I actually quite enjoyed it despite all its short comings, it really could’ve benefited from a longer run time, but I actually like how short it is it, maybe they could’ve made it 30 min eps instead of 20 min eps, if you haven’t watched the original I can’t say you’ll enjoy it because I don’t know how it stands on its own, and if you’re a fan of the original you might not like this adaptation because all the changes made to it, but I liked it and recommend it if you want to watch something short, simple and to the point.

If you like suspense and mystery this is the drama for you

I watched this while it was still airing and im very glad i did.
It is a very fun watch the will leave you at the edge of your seat, it has a cast of very likable characters that you will enjoy seeing. It has a lot of lessons of law, politics and corruption, winch the story handled well for the most part.
It is not a perfect story, the ending seemed rushed and a few story lines just fizzled out or never got completed. at the beginning it has a very complex way of seeing the world and how the law works and how corruption is inescapable, but at the end everything just got resolved in a fairly simplistic way.
But overall i really enjoyed watching this show and it made me feel interested in law, so i recommend you give it a watch :D

Just kinda ok, but overall boring and too long

I enjoyed some aspects of this drama, seeing different house holds and how they deal with their kids growing up, about 4 different kids dealing with high school and how each of them deals with it, how they navigate interpersonal relationships, how they handle crushes and deal with parents expectations. It also deals with the parents and all the things they deal with, but honestly i wasn't all to interested in this part.
I honestly some times found Lin Miao Miao to be bratty and annoying, she does have her moments tho, and there are some aspects i like about her character, she is so fun and extroverted and is not embarrassed to be herself. I don't have much to say about the other characters, they're fine I guess, there's the pretty one, the top studded stereotype who is handsome, the more laid back and sporty one, I like all they're story lines fine. The parents have they're own issues to deal with, honestly wasn't all to interested in their story lines, maybe i am way too young to relate.
Over all just ok, some good things some bad things, its just too long and hard to keep watching because of how boring it gets, if you liked it good for you, for me it was just not something I found enjoyable or what I wanted it to be, but I wouldn't really recommend it, I would say there are so many other better dramas out there.
