I wonder why this one has such a low rating! It was such a great drama! The plot, the characters, the acting...everything was just wow! I have watched Zhao Jin Mai dramas before and honestly was not impressed. But here she was phenomenal! Felt like she has put her heart and soul into it. Zhang Ling He is of course a great actor but he has outdone himself.
And I think Yu Qiao needs special mention. Words cannot mention how amazingly the character was written! And the actor delivered!

God! Its boring! Why does it have such a high rating? The male lead looks odd! No expression at all! FL is so lacklustre. The ONLY one who has acted well is the FL's cousin. Who is seriously cute.
And the whole 36 episodes could have been contained in 20 episodes max if they cut short all the slow walks towards each other and gazings into each others eyes! I mean, sheesh!
To think people are comparing the leads in this drama to Pursuit of Jade? They were oscar grade compared to this lot! I mean each and every actor in that drama. Zhang Linghe can eat 10 song weilong for breakfast!
Absolutely loved it. I thought Hidden Love would be my all time favourite CDrama but this one just replaced it. The acting is just WOW. The ML is a sweetheart. FL is realistic. The tears, the smiles, the anger, passion, all feels so natural. Even the mom's bursts of anger and tantrums doesnt feel out of place. Have they glancingly mentioned about the brother's "preferences"?
