It's more of a hopeful one for me, than actually sad - both because Tang Lici managed to stay in control of his fate, and because of the foxdragon thing in the last scene.

Love the ending - logical and earned, and with a good twist in the last episode.

Tang Lici rewinds time, saving everyone but effectively writing the current version of himself out of the reality. It's implied that he is reborn as a foxdragon.

The worst BE ever - everyone dies, except for Tang Lici. The drama ending most likely will be vastly different.

The way ancient lighters (or "flame sticks") work is pretty simple: paper, cotton, or some other flammable material is rolled up and placed into a tube. After igniting it and then partially extinguishing it, you're left with smoldering embers inside the tube. You can carry that around and reignite it later when needed.

Considering how many 1- and 2-star ratings are in that score, it’s pretty obvious the show got botted into oblivion by competing fandoms. Newly registered accounts can only spam 2-star ratings — anything lower gets ignored by the system — while prepped-in-advance accounts can go all in with 1-stars. Classic Douban rating war behavior. 🙄
