I HAVE QUESTIONS
I loved ep1. Like it was so enjoyable to watch but the person that made me watch it was jun oh actually... he is such a brat and made me watch the whole thing having fun because of his funny spoiled personality but now that he died and the old spirit took over his body, is jun oh completely gone and is it just gonna be the ghost inside him? because I feel like its gonna make the drama boring for me since I didnt realize any funny/adorable charachter that makes the drama easy to watch beside the actual jun oh so im a bit scared the show wont be as enjoyable as ep1 if we completely lost jun oh. so please give me some feedback as you guys watch , im only gonna watch if jun oh isnt completely gone or our ghost turns out to have similar personalities to himWas this review helpful to you?
that was way more intense than what I expected
it was filmed beautifully and realistically... aww something about this movie was so special to me I dont think I can ever forget this one , it was just what i needed but probably not everyone's cup of tea. but the way you know whats gonna happen but it still makes you feel the sad and heartbroken , it still hits hard.my overall rating for it is 9 I think and its only because we dont get to see masaki okada much, the performances were spectecular,it was a calm movie but it didnt fail to make me sad or nervous... idk I really loved this one , i wouldnt call it a tearjerker but I would call it heartbreaking. YOU JUST CANT SWALLOW AT SOME POINT SINCE IT FEELS TOO HARSH? thats my really honest short opinions for now ?
it honestly really made me feel so heartbroken please , that one spesific moment of the movie was just painful to watch. PURE PAIN. yet I was there for it so i loved it so much

its not hard to watch ,but it feels so pointless at the end...
like why did all those happen? what was the point of all those conversations and charachters?? its was all too empty for my taste , the characters , especially sumin and jihoon were so selfish. i only liked byeongjae and his existence didnt change anything at the end too. the way it ends was just too open. like I said , i wasnt hard to watch but it was pretty hard to understand , there was no meaning behind anything for me. it just didnt make much sense. the performances were good tho but for what? to create nonsense :(Was this review helpful to you?
Its nice but something is missing :(
Its a really nice movie actually , but things happened and the leads felt something yet it was never revealed what they felt. they just wanted us to look at their faces and know it.. the fml is a bit too passive(?) actually , I really couldnt find many answers about her feelings in the past or in the present. was she happy with that old reunion with the old friend? was she happy when that old friend who told her that thing about haruta? i dont know if it was meant to be like that , but they didnt make any monologs for that parts nor the actress's face told anything about how she felt... YET. it was a nice movie overall because the way our main leads healed each other , making each other face their struggles, and the message of never jugding anyone with just your first impressions. and the ending scene was definitely my favourite , i wish we could see more of scenes like that , i loved the chemistry and their dialogs. Masaki okada on the other hand , I felt like you could see his feelings in his face even tho he acted all jokey and sarcastic. roku's character really made me contunie watch this movie because overall , i cant say I wasnt bored but thanks to our only expressive and loud-like charachter roku , i kept watching.but my suggestion is , you should watch it.
its gonna make you think about a lot of things.
yet its not so short and not easy to keep watching it as it gets so dragged towards the middle but I think it still worths it. not my favourite japanese movie but it was something nice to spend time with. okada's looks in this movie also deserves appreaciation , man is so attractive and cute

THE ACTING WAS ON THE POINT
If you havent watched other cube movies like me , trust me you are probabl gonna be satisfied with this one...I really loved the way every single actor made exceptionally good jobs while portraying the characters.
i havent seen any cube movie before and honestly this one was intense for me. I really loved the calm thrill , i really loved how this movie showed how people react when they face situations like this. some goes mad , some tries to find quik solutions , some of them are unexpected heros and some of them sees this inescapable thing as a chance to hate this world even more and just let the craziness inside them wake...
SPOILER ALERT
MASAKI OKADA WAS INSANE FOR THAT ACTING. as I saw him as the silly loser guy a lot in a lot of works , I found him so cute at the start yet sensed something when he accidentally hurt the grumpy old man- DAMN I NEEDED TO STOP THE FILM FOR A MOMENT TO PROCESS HIS SCARED ATTITUDE TURNING INTO AN EVIL SMILE PLS. his scene with masaki suda was also intense. both actors were just doing such a great job right there. I was speechless and the movie made me lose sleep because it felt so intense.
and masaki suda's charachter had a great story , the bond between him and the little boy was so special to me , it broke my heart a lot during the whole thing and also warmed it :(
I really saw this movie as a physcilogical work on people's behaviour in such a desperate situation. it was interesting and realistic for me.
like I said before , every single person delivered their roles so well that I thought what made this movie so intense for me was the acting skills of the actors.
my only dissapointment is that , the reasoning for masaki okada's character going all crazy and evil somehow didnt feel enough even tho it made sense. but his anger , his way of killing was so intense for that little explanation giving to us.
however , i think it still made sense and I was really impressed by masaki okada one more time. he was so succesful for that evil turn , even tho him going evil wasnt suprising for me the way he delivered that role made it so intense and caused me to lose my sleep
shortly , I really loved this movie. for me its deeper than most of the comment section thought. If you havent watched the cube movies other than this , i have no doubt that you are gonna enjoy it. just give it a try

Some scenes were so touching , some scenes were so flat :( I really am confused with this one
Hase yuuki was such a lovely boy who is an absolute imaginer. you could feel the excitement he has and the kind heart he has there, he is also a boy who respect people's feelings , even if that means the girl she loved likes someone else. he is sincere and cute.our girlie was on the other hand , I felt like we knew almost nothing about her personality... I couldnt figure out her personality at all , I didnt understand her feelings too. I get it was because of her condition , but she was too cold to me. I knew she treasured yuuki and was a good person overall but other than these I feel like we absolutely know nothing about her. I kinda loved the second more more , she was always taking care of yuuki and showing affection to everyone , had some personality going on in front of us.
it sadly felt like it was only male lead loving the girl again. the ending was just too open to me even tho it probably wasnt made to be an open ending.
did she completely remember him? or is that just traces of her memories? does she love him in that way? what was gonna be her response when she was gonna meet koju back then? did she liked koju? is she again gonna forget everything after that? I had so many questions left with no answers at all.
yet , it was a smooth watch for me even tho it got a little dragged towards the middle . it was enjoyable to watch overall ,not boring.
ESPECIALLY. that scene where FML found the book yuuki doodled and recalled their memories ALMOST made me tear up because it felt so nice and cute yet heartbreaking :( it really was a special scene and probably the best thing about this movie.
I think it was a bit of a waste of potential. I felt like they could give us a second couple like ML's best friend and 2nd female lead or kujo and second femal lead. non lead characters were loveable to me , i thought they could have been given more screentime. and they should just give us some information after that sudden ending scene and just answer my questions like that. maybe with a future cut kinda thing.
it was watchable tho. dont get your expectations so high ,but its still enjoyable. cant say the ending didnt make me pissed a bit (a lot actually)

towa was such a loveable male lead :(
honestly , at first I thought that would be a nice funny movie but towa , that boy , made me so emotional at some point. he was so sincere. his sincerety literally made this not so special movie a lot memorable for me. his honesty , his neverending effort to get her love but his first priorty always being her happiness to the point he did everything he can to make her meet masaki thinking she would confess to him. he really was a loveable male lead.on the other hand , miwa was kinda messy for me :( I wish the story and the actress could make me believe miwa was actually also in love with towa but somethings just felt empty about her feelings.I dont know ,maybe it was because of towa's strong way of expressing his love and him making a lot of effort but she still didnt feel like she loved towa THAT WAY. it just looked like she was enjoying his sincerety and company so the romance factor was all one sided for me. I dont know about acting either ,maybe it just wasnt my style but the acting of the actress felt a bit weak as well but of course , maybe she just wanted to not show much expression since miwa is a cold one , not saying anything about her general acting skills.I just wasnt satisfied with her performance at this one.
at the end , the actor of towa did a great job and the character towa makes this non special yet funny movie a lot special with his sincerety. like I said tho , even without towa it was enjoyable and funny but towa really made it special somehow. i am obviously a sucker for loser like sincere male leads...
its not too long , i definitely recommend this for 1.5 hours of giggles. it was cute and warm

it was so heartwarming and breaking at the same time...
I dont even know where to start. the movie points out lots of hardships a disabled person can face, from the other companie girls' comments about itsuki "you can never have an actual relationship with him" , to tsugumi's dad's attitude "I dont want my daughter to face so many diffuculties". they were cruel as they were unfortunately realistic , there are a lot of people who would say these as the movie analized them so well. my heart ached a lot for itsuki yet tsugumi really made me relaxed as I saw how much she cared for him. what made that care special for me was that she didnt only worry about him ,but she also let him do what he wants and showed him she trusts in him multiple times which was just what itsuki needed. he was suffering to see people around him feeling sad for him but our kawana came and ask the nurses if he could just contunie working , because she knew if he didnt complete his task because of his condition , his confidence in himself would be damaged. I really loved how kawana treated him , she was really gentle and supportive yet really wasnt acting like he cant live on his own , she always showed she trusts him on doing anything he wants. that was the most touching part for me.in the end kawana builed , protected and proved this relationship to everyone. she even convinced her dad which I think was the hardest because a father worrying about his daughter wont give up easyly. I was really touched by that girl during the whole movie. she really didnt hesitate to make decisions and she knew how to treat people and how to care for them without making them feel miserable. For me , she was one of the most memorable charachters in the japanese movie history for me.
Our ML on the other hand , was also pretty cute and kind but just like I said before , that girl kawana really stealed my heart with her beautiful attitude towards him.
the ending felt just a bit rushed tho , but I loved how they showed us the wedding
I just rated music a bit low because I really didnt pay much attention to it , i hope everyone who needs to feel strong instead of needs to be treated like a baby , i hope you will all find your kawana ( I wish this for myself as well at some point)
it was beautiful , I just stole tiny points because the ending was just a little bit fast , it was realistic and heartwarming
