Yeah, if you want but I will do more of a `quick` subtitle translation method.

I coded, from scratch, my own subtitle creator-translator app.
I won't lie; I did "reverse engineer" (by studying outputs and logs), the app most people use today. But I never used a repo or copied source code.

I could do a batch translation for the entire season and share the SRT files, as long as the translation score is over 90%. If it scores lower than a 90% then I will have to spend some time on tweaking things.

Before I make the subtitle files because even if it's a "quick" translation.
I want my translations to actually hold value, in terms of quality and precision.

Only started watching this because the plot seemed very unique, as I was searching for a "soap opera" like cdrama (similar to the daily melo kdramas) because I never really looked for one before until now.

Which linguistically speaking the origins of the word 'romance' does sort of lean more towards a concept vs. human emotions. Romance > Roma (to do/view things in a Roman manner). Apparently, this was due to how the Ancient Roman wrote their stories. Being full of drama, passion and adventure.

A good chunk of words originates from Greek, but 'romance' is an exception. Which is interesting as the Greeks used; 'eros > erotic' -- but it gets more complicated than that. The Greeks literally broke their words down into subcategories, like they had different types of ways to "love" something/someone. Each type of "love" was as unique as numbers to them.

I started to make English subs for this show. Took me almost five months to figure out how to download the full HD videos from a website.

Only reason I started watching this was because the YouTube icon was the girl resting her foot on the guy's face.

I am currently on episode 30, sad knowing I only have ten episodes left. Going to be honest, it took me a few episodes to get used the male leads round face and nose. This is what happens when the entertainment industry "brainwashes" our psychological expectations.

Overall, this drama is decent, it's kept me entertained. It's not over the top, has a mix of everything, I just don't quite understand the plot with how the male lead goes into this 'Wuxia' world. They haven't really explained this yet.

I just started this drama because I have been researching the short lived 'Wu Zhou' Dynasty, which is also the same era/dynasty which Di Renjie lived during. Very curious how this drama is created against the historical account(s).

Just finished this, watching the (40 minute x 10) episodes from ▶YouTube.
I usually over analyze things but the main reason why I gave the series an 8 out 10; was for how the series was directed. How the director was able to blend the comedic elements into scenes before the scene or plot would feel too serious. I felt like the drama also didn't lean too heavily into a specific genre; there were action scenes, but they weren't that intense or occuring all of the time -- same thing with any romance scenes. Usually these short/mini dramas fail to capture my attention, but I honestly enjoyed* this one.

However, this drama also reminded me of a similar (wuxia) drama I watched a few months ago or last year. It had the whole reborn aspect; the lead joins some guard unit (they throw these metal shields from their belt) ..searching.. 🧐🔎Guardians of the Dafeng🔍 <-- this drama.

This was the first modern Taiwanese drama (I think), I have watched, in general. For whatever reason, I am a big fan of (any countries) shows or movies, which have something to do with a prison/jail in the plotline.

Yes, as other's have mentioned, the opening scene does have this quirky/funny dance intro to the show. The show was fine overall, nothing bad but nothing amazing. A decent drama that had just enough, to keep me interested but might not be enough for others.

The only thing I didn't understand about the drama, is why they added random ambiguous male+male scenes. Leaning into “could be something more” moments. When most of the guy(s) in the drama (I think), are straight. Unless this is normal for Taiwanese dramas. 🤷

I found this show on a random Chinese YouTube channel with the title 'Douluo Youth'. I did not know it was free on Viki, so will watch it there now.

Only on episode 05 and I am truly enjoying the storyline and the female lead. She does have a silly character, and her character behaves childish, but it's done well. (In Chinese this "trope" is called '傻白甜' -- there really isn't a direct translation to English) However, I am concerned her childish behavior could also be what makes me stop watching the show if the director over does it.

I haven't read the other comments (yet) but I would assume some people might complain about the cgi or 3d effects/animation. For myself personally, bad cgi or 3d effect never bothered me. My brain can easily convert what I am seeing into something more imaginative if need be. Let alone this series was filmed/created in 2019, so the cgi isn't that bad for when it was made and for how much they had for a 40-episode budget*.

I usually don't watch reality (fake scripted live) shows but I've grown to enjoy that Elvis guy's acting.

I was too lazy to get up and change the channel/movie/episode. (My TV is hooked to my PC, so I have to get up and configure it. If I need to change whatever I am watching.) I just let this movie play, while I was resting and it honestly wasn't that bad. It had a few tearjerker moments of the hardships with life and not getting ahead, no matter how hard you try.

Romance? Not really or none. Instead, it has a drunk father/husband that keeps the family down. However, there is this guy friend of the female lead which you can sort of sense the "connection" between the two but the female's (societal) morales on how a mother/female "should" behave usually kicks in.

Worth watching? Meh, 50/50 - in my opinion. If you're looking for an inspirational movie, maybe then this could be a latter choice.

This is one strange tv series but it's a solid 90's horror jdrama. With the gore, rated R "sex" scenes, monsters, comedy, etc. Highly worth watching if you are someone who grew up watching 90s Japanese Drama's.

I found some random site that has HD Asian drama, which I used for rare Japanese videos.
I came across the 1999 version of this series which has 400+ episodes.
I think the TV show is called "Taiwan Paranormal Events" - it's not listed here on MDL.

I will be making subs for this show. I found a site that has tons of new JDRAMA raw videos but they just take awhile to download via VPN.
