Finally started it. Been postponing it, because I'm a crybaby, but love productions like this... I am enjoying that they made Aesun the loud and bold one and Gwanshik the silent and eternaly loyal one. I'm only at episode 4, but I already know I will have my heart broken many times before this show ends. 😩

I was wondering what feels off to me about this show and I think I got it... I didn't read the source material, but in this script it feels like the talking cats were just an afterthought. As if they wrote a cutesy story with cats and after they finished it, they remembered the main lead was supposed to talk to these cats. Having talking cats is basically a bottomless pit of possibilities and shenanigans, but as of now, I'm not really digging how they chose to go about it. Fingers crossed for the next episodes. 🤞🏻

yeah, it's streaming everywhere BUT on Youtube, I wonder if that's on purpose, because they are getting slammed about it on Twitter, but so far nobody reacted to it :D

I can't often see it even in my subscriptions or on the GMMTV channel. I wonder why that happens with the live streaming. Been having this problem for a while now. :|

Also, I think it's definitely streaming on TrueVisions, because GMMTV's Twitter is full of shorts from EP2, but they kinda forgot about YTB... Which is also nothing new. :')

The handling of it in the drama is questionable, I agree. And the PR not disclosing they are not blood related is not helping it either. Usually with the step-brothers-in-love type of genre it's disclosed right away that they are not blood related to avoid confusion and backlash like this. Makes me feel like it was intentional. I really hope they will address this in the next two episodes and won't leave people thinking they are blood related.

Omg, I felt that rant about mid-2000s yaoi manga in my soul. Someone would recommend something to me, I would open it and it would be something the likes of Okane ga nai. I would close it and delete it from my disk forever and never look back. People telling me Hyakujitsu no Bara was peak would just get a side eye from me. xD

Oh yeah. I guess they didn't wanna give the plot twist away the way they marketed this show, but the avalanche of hate it got (at least on Twitter) before it aired is... Bit too much, in my opinion.

I think my wording was bad, the cousins-in-law/cousins which are not related by blood fits better to what I had in mind. I will correct that. :) May I suggest tagging your comment as spoiler? Because so far the story didn't reveal that and not sure how many people read it.

I know there's been some confusion about the relationships, so:
- Jeong and Iljo are half brothers, they have the same dad;
- Jeonghan and Iljo are cousins which are not related by blood.

IIRC, I think they are cousins-in-law? I think the 'they are cousins' was intentionally used/lost in translations to make people curious and watch it xD

edit: deleted 'cousins thru marriage', because it suggest something else than cousins-in-law

was there any evidence provided in the video for this claim? because I can't find anything about it even in Korean and I'm pretty sure the major Korean BL Twitter accounts would already be all over this information
