so the angst era has begun. i got whiplash cus they went from healing wounds to straight up fighting in like few seconds 😭😭. although i think xie zhang should've communicated better, like yeah he likes her and everything but cmon now. he should've been a bit more rational cus after all he's been keeping fan changyu in the dark about his identity. she barely knows the real him, so ofc she wouldn't agree easily to leave with him. i wanna see how he's gonna make it up to my girl.

you're right, their love is quite toxic. he keeps lying and scheming but then he gets mad when she is rightfully angry at him for using her. like make it make sense... anyway as for the novel i didn't read it, but i heard the drama made his character worse. apparently he does some manipulating things in the show that he didn't do in the novel.

he stay scheming and she stays forgiving him😭😭. cai zhao betrayed her family, friends, and master just to find out it was part of his scheme...? yeah mu qing yan stay pissing me off!! like she would straight up help him if he just asked, no need to do all that manipulating stuff. my girl cai zhao actually needs to stand on business this time cus it gets to a point.

ep 18: yeah i like obsessed mls but mu qingyan pissing me off rn. i don't like how he made his poison progress super fast for his plan to keep her, i know it was also to get rid of the enemies blah blah blah. but anyway i'm rlly dumbfounded and confused cus why didn't he stop to think about the trauma she has from her aunt dying? like no wonder why she's mad, he used her grief for his plan. i like mu qingyan, but babes, that was so not cool... couldn't he find another way to be around cai zhao that wasn't yk stupid.
