i didn't watch the new eps cus i wanna save up and watch them. but is that yang ding chen guy still her betrothed? i just strongly dislike seeing him on my screen...

my guess is that the youngest sister really does have the tea bone, and that bracelet has something to do with it. if not that, then it’s another secret which shan bao can’t reveal yet. so he’s basically blackmailing her into marrying him, and we’ll have to bare with him til shan bao finds a way to get rid of him 💔💔😔.

ep 10: watched 10 mins, can't finish the rest of the episode. i have to wait til that annoying guy is gone. like i know shan boa has no choice but to choose him, but just the thought of him is raising my blood pressure. he's just so frustrating, hopefully he suffers a painful end.

ep 5: i get it, the sister was sad she got rejected, but why would she try to kill her sister who literally raised her and taker her power as well. su yu can't be that handsome, either she's dumb or that's just bad writing.

spoiler for ep 8: what is the 5th sister gonna do, is she gonna kill young master he?!! i have a feeling she's more than she's letting on, she wouldn't let the 4th and 2nd sister boss her around if they were of no use to her.

started ep 1 today and so far i love the fmc's character, but i heard like the roles switch a bit cus of reincarnation or something. does this mean she goes from being like flirty and kind of dominant to more on the reserved and tame side?

spoiler: love the role reversal, like the fmc is the rich and powerful one, while the mmc has the stereotypical fml story, like he loses his memory and is broke, basically they swapped the stereotypical roles that. but im assuming not everyone is with the program cus some of the potential spouses of the fmc are weirdly misogynistic, like trynna control things in her house. they’re not even doing it in a slick manner, they’re outright behaving like they’re about to run the house. don’t they know they’re about to be a live-in-son in law? like especially those two who are always scheming, shouldn’t they be more idk respectful and less demanding? so i’m assuming the family is just matriarchal, not the society.

yh i was confused as well, cus later we see his injury is still healing. so im assuming like 2 months or so passed rather than a whole year.

first 4 eps: the cinematography is peak, the transitions are smooth, and the coloring is fabulous. i love fmc's character, she sharp, smart, and direct, like she don't got time to waste. hot take maybe but i think she fell first, and i love to see an fmc fall first. the scene where she was on the balcony in ep 1, she seems intrigued by the mmc and when he's a stable boy you can see she treats him just a little differently. gulnezer bextiyar was such an amazing choice for the casting, her face is so defined yet so delicate, so far i can feel her embody the character very well and i'm so excited to see how it progresses.
