so far its kind of on the slower side, but it's not boring. like the ml's character, he's so gone for the fl already. also the fan service has me weak, the directors really want us to see the mls bare chest at least once an episode 😭. not complaining tho, not complaining at all 🙏🏽. the fl's character is also rlly likeable, she's direct and kind of strict, which make sense since she spent most of her life on battle fields. lowkey excited to see how she opens up and how the mc's relationship develops. tho i wonder if we will get into how the general found her and her past?

omg i love this drama. the romance was slow burn and one of my favs ever. the ml is so sweet and kind, he always encouraged jang geum to reach her goals, definitely one of my favs mls ever. jang geum is so inspiring and never backed down from reaching her goals despite all the set backs. tbh i never thought i would love this drama so much but everything from the cinematography, acting, and script are well done. it was a really good watch.

lmao you're so real 😭😭. idk maybe it's cus modern dramas tend to focus on the romance a lot that when the leads get together the story become flat cus sometimes there isn't anything else moving the plot. while for other genres like historical dramas the romance is more of a subplot with politics, revenge, war, etc.. being more of the main plot.

ikr especially since this one is airing by the end of this week. there's nothing we can do but wait fr 😭😭.

spoilers: it was a good watch, loved the way the romance was written, and i loved that she got her revenge. i'm honestly glad they didn't make it a reincarnation drama because she got her justice in this life and got to keep all her accomplishments too. in my opinion the last few episodes were just ok compared to the rest of the show, i will say tho chu zhao pissed me off a bit at the end, he really had no business being so annoying. glad he was exiled far, far away, like good riddance.

im cryyying, but idk why he acts like he is the one who accomplished all those things credited to general feihong even though he knows it was he yan. all he's done since becoming general feihong is lose, including his duel with he yan 💀💀. it baffles me how nobody caught onto the fact that he's an imposter as there is a huge skill difference between him and he yan 😂😂.

that scene was soo insane, loved it. ngl i was surprised he said it in front of the whole court!!

the romance was great, not too fast and not too slow. it was so sweet, the acting felt natural and it was well written. i'm not ready for it to end tho💔💔, easily one of the best cdramas this year.

spoiler warning: idk i just got sketchy vibes from him. for someone who grew up with the sister, shouldn't he be a bit more emotional when talking about her? also i idk if you watched episode 4 but spoiler warning!!! basically, we saw in ep 4 the older sister wrote in her diary a man in the village is the only one for her and is her only hope in the village, but then he broke her heart, and more things were revealed, yk i don't wanna spoil more if you haven't watched it. tbh, you might think it's a crazy assumption it's the cousin, but it just might be!! cause the whole family wants to forget she existed. her passing was too "shameful" and they tried hiding it but they never wanted to clear up the rumors or stop them from spreading. almost as if they tried to hide something bigger or more "scandalous". but this is just what i think personally, maybe he's not that important of a character 🤷🏽‍♀️.

her parents feel guilty because they neglected beiyu and are not willing to really accept that they messed up 😪.

spoiler warning: just finished all four eps and it gave me major stress. i know the ml will go through character development but as of rn he's kind of irritating. i also hope he dumps his friends as well, they're just so annoying 😭. i really wonder what happened to her sister, can't wait to find out. But as of now her cousin with the fiancée is giving me mad sketchy vibes 🤨, like he's suspicious.
