when watching this my uncle was also terminally ill (he helped raise me). when i first was watching i stopped since he just got diagnosed, but than a bit after i began watching again because i was curious if the show might show what our future will hold. while watching it I was confused why the acted some ways they did, I could get a grasp but not truly understand. For example how she knew she passed without picking up the phone, not going to see he body one last time and etc. I thought "oh they just wanted it to be dramatic for the audience, but now I know, at least for my case that it portrayed it perfectly. That moment you get the phone call you instintly know, the fact that she didnt go in to see here for the last time is so relatable, for me i couldnt move i froze and kept my head down while others went in. I guess the reason i love this drama so much is because i relate to the characters so much, the show is definitly not for every one but this show for my has helped in so many ways i never thought a show could.

One way ticket...

I began watching this drama because of jisoo and hae in (my favourite actor). It was every thing I was expecting but not at the same time (those who watch will understand). I will began my review with the acting. We all know well how talented at acting Hae in is, going from a cute, express charcter to an emotionless, seen all the wrong things guy, in this drama he expressed so many emotion. He expressed the emotional power struggle within him, trying to choose his country or whats right. Its often hard to show this internal pain and struggle but he presented so well that caused the viewers to sympathize and try tell him what side to pick even though they are on the other side if the screen. Jisoo shocked me with her powerful acting, we often see with idols them playing roles that have more of a cutsy feel, but jisoo went full out with an emotional performance. Her pain of seeing everyone she loved be ripped apart from her, is shown so well it cant help but cause pain to those watching. Her scenes presents her inner struggle for the man she loves but hates, or wishes to hate but cant due not so simple emotions, love. The side characters also did and amazing job, some parts they added to the emotional pain of the viewer and other times the added comic relief. The duality some of these actors show are truly amazing. One thing in this drama I really appreciated was the forshadowing of events, especally with simple things as talking about Romeo and Juliet and Youngro singing the beloved song 'one way ticket'. For some reason this show reminded me of a quote from the outsider; "two of my friends died that night: one a hudlum the other a hero" it reminds my of how sooho sacrificed himself to save so many but will be potryd as an evil murdering communist which we all know he isnt. Even though this drama isnt perfect, at some points the plot began yo drag and the ending traumatised me, i dont regret watcing it is well done and would recommend it those interested in watching. Instead of continually rambling on ill end it my review with one more thing, a poem called "snowdrop" written by Louise Gluck which i think suites this drama;

one of my fav dramas so far

Everything about this drama is perfect so far. The acting is well done, the express the emotion perfectly. the story plot is simply but interesting enough to captivate viewers and pull them along for each episode, and even make views think about their own life and relationships. The beautiful cinematography makes it hard for viewers to look away, it help strengthens the mood and emotions in scenes, especially with the help of pathetic fallacy. Also looooovee the ost, v's voice is like a comforting hug after you feel the emotions portrayed in the drama. The only bad thing about this is having to wait every week, every episode makes me longing for the next. 10/10 would recommend this drama. only on ep 8 will alter when finished

Maple latte anyone?

This is a story about growth and friendship. This show captured the beauty and negatives of youth so well. Each character and relationship had its side the perfection we want to show and the uglyness we try to hid. The bad characteristics of each character and relationship is what i believe makes this show so great because we as people and or relationships always have negtive trait weather or not we are jealous of other or weather their is a lack of trust in the relationship. Because this drama show those negative traits we were able to see the character of over all the great thing about youth, growth. Not only that but each character was well written which abled the audience to understand and either love or hate the character.
The music in this is a pure 10/10, it fit the show so well. The romance was well done and put together and always manged to cause my heart to flutter. The acting was well done, I was surprised at jaehyuns acting skills, he definitely lived up to the part.
Especially in ep 10 at around 33minutes, I could truly appreciate how desprite joo ah was, her fear of losing her best friend, in this scene i think the actress did and amazing job at protraying these emtions.
The dialog couldnt have been better written and there are some qoutes that will sick with me

"Just out of breath"

In one ep the fl asks the ml how does it feel to be a runner and he responded with "just always out of breath". When i first watched the drama it comforted me, i do not know why it just did. I love the plot of the show, its entertaining enough to keep you entertained to simple enough to relate to it. The characters are so well written, their back storys make us understand why they are the way they are, the actors did an amazing job to express to us the emotions the characters felt. My favourite thing about this drama is the writing, i have rewatched this drama many times, but some of the things the characters say never stop comforting me. No matter what some of the lines just have a special place in my heart, they offer comfort no other things can offer me. I truly recommend this drama to everyone.

Helps you emotionaly

Hi everyone how are you. I have recently lost a parent figure who helped raised me, it has been very hard. I am the type of person who would study and do homework for hours on end, but every since what happened, I haven't been able to do any work at all. Not even homework which has gotten me in trouble. I felt numb and empty. I stumbled upon this film and decided to watch since I am fan of the actors in it. As I began watching it I found my self relating to the characters and their struggles. Some complain about the acting but I happen to disagree. Irene small range of emotion in a way helps my connect with her, helped me feel like I was not alone. Her character has been through a lot and it would be strange if she had a lot of emotion. Her way of portraying the character was well done and deserves more praise. The male lead has lost someone in the film and gives up and isnt him any more. I was really able to connect with his character. Watching him recover from his loss with the help of Irene but mostly because of himself, was really healing to myself. The plot has many 'morals of the stories' and life lessons. Some of then are clear and some are hidden. The hidden ones you only find when you need, like the ones about over coming grief I found. Someone struggling with finding a job or where they want to be will find different things that will help them. Overall this movies was amazing. The plot was great and i would totally re-watch. This movie has a talent for helping everyone my matter what situation because of the extremely relatable story line. I know for me personally it has helped me heal and melt away some of my numbness. If you want a good movie with a good story plot just because you want to watch a movie, watch it. If you are going through something and want a movie that will help with that, watch it.
