yeah tysm!! but i still have a few more questions,-the whole money thing begins because qiuqiu was jealous of…
I just completed watching it so my thoughts also still aren't that clear but here's my attempt to answer your questions
First of all, we really don't know much about the content of the actual novel written by the real world ZhenZhen. The only thing we were told is that it was really dark and she wrote about her own experiences. The parents divorce, friends betraying and all of that was there. And the novel ended with her jumping from a bulding (not sure if school building or the clock tower, probly school) So considering she dies by suicide in the actual novel. I am assuming it must've taken place at the same time as the failed attempt in Jiangling's modified novel. Moreover we don't even know the actual characters in her story. But I am sure they must be pretty similar to the modified one. Only thing is Jiangling was added as a totally fictional character - both in 2012 and 2024(?). Plus I think their class teacher can also be fictional or atleast modified since she is the doctor we see later. So is Gu Ming also fictional or modified atleast? Because other than the doctor, JL in real time also saw him (the accident). Maybe, maybe not🤷♀️ Please keep this in mind
- Idk what you mean by QQ's jealousy being the reason for the theft incident. Because it wasn't. There were 3 people involved here: Qi Shuo: Stole only some of the money to frame ZZ. Purpose - To get revenge for his sister who was accused of being a homewrecker by ZZ. Qiu Qiang - Not sure if she stole but wanted to. Saw QS stealing so both cooperated to keep it a secret. Purpose - Was being blackmailed by a thug for money. Gu Ming: Actually stole all of the money. Purpose - Desperately needed money to pay for his mother's medical bills. See how none of their purpose had anything to do with Jiangling. So I believe that even in the og novel this incident took place in the exact same fashion where he didn't exist. - No, I don't think so. The whole investigation to find out the actual culprits was solely done by Jiangling in the modified story. So in the og timeline the culprits might not have been found out. - That is something I am also not sure about. It seemed to portray what a perfect world for An ZhenZhen and the people around her would have looked like. A world where their strongest wishes/desires that they in reality couldn't achieve came real. Her own parents were happy together and she had the perfect family she wanted. Qiu Qiang was good at studies and thus pampered and loved by her parents. She was no more neglected. Qiu Shuo, well😂 he was happy for sure constantly immersed in his roles and acting 😂 Probably his sister agreed for him to pursue acting. Gu Ming was completely different, probably his father wasn't a gambler and her mother wasn't sick. That's why he didn't need to study so hard and could be carefree like that. But then there was no Jiangling. My first thought was probably he was also living his perfect life. Maybe he had his parents by his side. He could now study liberal arts just as he wished and didn't have any reason to be in her calss. But is that really what was being portrayed? I am not sure. ZZ here definitely remembered the life she spent with Jiangling. She missed him and eventually even questioned if that life and him were just her dreaming. Maybe it's a call back to when JL said that happiness isn't determined by the external factors and we need sufferings to actually cherish and understand real happiness. Also when ZZ tells her dad she is now aware the world isn't perfect but she accepts it. That's why even in this perfect world she feels something is missing? Here's what I think - ZZ in real life rn is in coma. JL has been reading her his modified story. So she has been visualising his story as a dream the whole time. And the perfect life she saw was the next dream right after JL's story ends. There we see her crying and questining how could everything (her life with JL) be a dream. When she sleeps she again sees a different dream. Papers flying and then she saw the ending line of her novel. This is where she probably realises it's the novel perhaps? And then the next dream is her sitting unconscious with a machine on. Where the screen shows 2012 and then changes to 2024. Which probably implies that she's out of her dream back to the present, that is, she's out of the coma. - Answered above - Now just to mention the 2024 ver. Jiangling from the modified novel to me is the most confusing part and I have too many questions about it. For that scene particularly, I think it's just his imagination. He is probably recovering his memory of ZZ. Remember, he said that he couldn't remember anything about her for some reason. And even the scenes following were about him recovering his memories of her.
I was not expecting it to be THIS good. I didn't even know I could feel the type of emotions I have felt watching this Really really recommend people to give this a try. It tackles so many important topics and social taboos and also has some really complex characters. It got me thinking about so many things and gave me so much insight
Just finished episode 2, and that whole flashback of her childhood with her grandpa especially the separation completely wrecked me. I was sobbing so hard I couldn’t even breathe. I really, really miss my grandparents
It was weird that Ha Eun Gyeol didn't have any memories of current timeline. So can we say he replaced this timeline's…
Yup, I agree. Because he changed the past of his parents, his past life too gets changed. So the memories he had from the original timeline must've been erased as they no longer exist now. Instead, he should've gained the memories of the changed past.
Does the writer really hate Eungyeol? He has always been so guilty about the fire incident. He finally got a chance to meet his father when he could still hear. He's been trying his level best all this time just to prevent the accident from happening, he was so desperate to stop it that he did everything he could. WDYM HE IS THE REASON FOR YI CHAN'S ACCIDENT? Imagine the guilt and trauma he will have to go through because of this. I am afraid he will just blame himself for everything. I honestly feel so bad for him, he has already been through a lot. This just hurts so bad😭😭
Definitely going to miss Yi Chan's random English speaking moments 😭😂😂 one that plays non stop in my…
Omg yessss, and also his "omo" and the way he laughs too. Someone needs to make a compilation of these or else I won't be able to sleep after it ends. Man I'll just miss Yichan sm😭😭
Hello Twinklers. This has nothing to do with the drama, but I was wondering if any of you had good recommendations…
I' d say Racket Boys!! It is a very wholesome show and talks about many bonds like friendship, family, father-son, coach-student. Not to mention Choi Hyunwook is there too. I personally really enjoyed watching it
I've read all the theories and I can't describe how blown I am! All the theories make a lot of sense and truly explain the ending According to the theories PuPu, Yan Liang and Police Chen are all dead. The death of PuPu and Yang Liang makes sense to me since PuPu might have died of her asthma while Yan Liang might have died in the fire, or by DongSheng, or maybe when he fell off the ship. But I don't understand when and how does Police Chen die
