They call him Eblis but the thing is genie was never good character in other story’s that are made besides cartoon . the three wish thing was always in different storys/movies were not going to benefit the wisher in the end . I just saw him being 99% of time rude and obnoxious to his parents , friend, the female Hé is very selfish ( sth that will not change after 33 yes old) He has victim mindset like he is always victim and everybody else is Villain.so his parents , his friend , female is Villain. when the girl confessed , he was extremely rude and said its her problem . Now that he is in missery, he expect everybody understand him ! this is double standard!
