even the double was such a low budget, their opening ceremony was in a small enclosed area and everyone including yu zheng himself doubted the drama will be successful (he immediately sold it to youku). but the drama became successful and global hit so people mistake it as high budget drama and discredit its Dark Horse drama title.

kinda similar here with royal betrothal. because czy is a traffic actor and wjy a veteran actress, people think its s+ drama but no, it isn’t. you can see it with the clothes quality and all. still, the whole team did what they could best. especially great acting and strong hooking plot (so far).
