a good story with a poor execution

I enjoyed the first episodes but while the time passed by it just stressed me out. The story is really good and has a lot of potential but it went down with the miscommunication trope, like ig it was ok at first but it lasted longer than i would’ve liked, despite this as a highlight i liked that it included more mature content/topics.
I don’t remember much about the music but the opening was good and about the cinematography it was really pretty. I really liked the acting but i think it has room of improvement.
Overall, it’s a good bl but not excellent.

how do you watch this without getting the ick

i don’t understand how people can actually watch and enjoy a “love story” with such a big age gap. i only watched because of takuya but immediately regretted it, idc if “he waited until he turned 18” minato’s is a grown 30 year old man with low self steem dating boy who’s TWELVE/THIRTEEN years younger. if you can’t see the problem there’s no help for you.
on the other hand, even tho they don’t mention the ages of the secondary couple and it seems “better” there’s a considerable age gap as well….

sweet but boring

i watched cuz everyone would recommend but it was a disappointment.
first of all i feel that everything happened too fast and the story was really predictable. i mean, amane didn’t want to fall in love but he fell for the very first boy who crossed his path(?
besides, i didn’t notice an actual development in the main character, ik he’s facing the challenges of accepting his sexuality but that’s all, he doesn’t have any other problems that getting the boy he wants who happens to be a lovely guy

a mature story perfectly executed

I think it’s one of the best Jbls i’ve watched. Ik the trope seems cliché but they managed to make something actually original. It was so satisfying to see the bottom put boundaries to protect his own feelings, cause if u know it’s not something common in the BL world.
About the cinematography, it was so good, specially when you notice the parallels between the young and the current couple. The music is really good, i loved the opening, never skipped it.
overall, a more mature bl masterpiece
