i can’t remember if yichen died directly from the gunshot or if he ki**ed himself too because i stopped reading properly at that point, but ultimately yichen died after the gunshot so lufeng ki**ed himself

now looking at the teaser for ep 7, is xiao he gonna reincarnate or something, why on earth are we seeing him in the afterlife 😭

im kinda confused and wondering what others' opinions may be for the significance of the very first scene in episode one. i get that the synposis basically tells us that xiao he will die, but will he? the first scene confuses me because it seems as if he's continously trying to change fate or something, which perhaps means this is not the first time he's experiencing this whole scenario with jia yi. i havent quite looked into yet, but i was wondering whether that first scene is supposed to mean something and whether anyone else has any ideas :)

the novel ends with lufeng k*ing himself

yeah, sorry i assumed the person was asking about the first few episodes so i only mentioned the first two times

it's kind of unpredictable because yichen was actually supposed to die in the hospital and lufeng k* himself shortly after, i assume they're just gonna end up together in the show

when they first do it in episode 2 and later in episode 4 again when yichen tries to leave him

I completely agree with you, its shocking how people can side with Lufeng and act like he "sacrifices everything for love", when truly he's just obsessed with Yichen. Not only has he, countless times, raped Yichen, but he's also trying to manipulate him into thinking he has to choose him over his own family. It's easier for Lufeng to do that because he doesn't have a good relationship with them, but Yichen did, and it's shown clearly throughout the show how much he loves his family and truly cares for them, yet Lufeng is trying to isolate him and make himself the only one in Yichen's life. Lufeng was told multiple times to leave the issue alone, yet he himself kept pushing the hospital scene till everyone ended up hurt, so there's really no one to blame but himself. It's sad how Yichen's had his whole life surrounded by this nonsense of a relationship with barely a chance to figure things out for himself (cause if we go for the novel, SPOILER!!, he's literally been groomed since he was 13). Screw Lufeng.

me too, although opposites attract, she's too much and is constantly rude and always using the fact she's a senior throughout their relationship. i hope she either gets character development or he gets someone better for him
