I was really enjoying this drama for many reasons. I found it so refreshing, compelling, and entertaining.
But now that it's transitioned from a fantasy romcom into a suspense thriller, I can barely watch for more than a few minutes at a time before I need to take a break. I'm still struggling to get through episode 9 (near the end) and haven't even started 10 yet.
Some of my favorite dramas were super-intense, but I got through them the same way—in bits & spurts—and the payoff made all the angst worth it in the end. But those were advertised as such (and not romcoms). I knew what I was getting into when I started. Not so, here.
Anyway, I no longer worry about how to get through the week between episodes. If anything, I worry if I can catch up in time before the finale.
I found this gem on Netflix. Every country should make a localized version of this. Every student should hear the speech at the end of ep 3. I haven't seen S1 but still enjoyed this very much.
I saw the tweet mentioning this. But how do we know when Grand Prince died? When was that told? Also this kind…
So she is her own walk-in possessing herself? Did the present-day Seori who got pushed out of her body then move on to possess her next future incarnation? (That could be the basis for a sequel!)
I know what it's like trying to balance work-life as a single parent with a dangerous job. It's so stressful when I get covered in someone's blood &/or entrails just before a parent-teacher conference at the school. Stressful and awkward! I'm sure Agent Kim will be better than I at making up excuses or lying to someone's face—especially my child. I think she somehow always knows when I'm being deceptive, and it's starting to create some estrangement between us. Anyway, I think this drama hits just a little bit too close to home for me. But I expect it will be good. So enjoy! Now, I gotta finish making her lunch for tomorrow before I sneak out to assassinate a business rival. Peace!
So does she recuse herself and work on his defense? Or does she cut him loose to remain with the prosecution? Could perhaps her husband have murdered her mom? I have so many questions!
Just because Garasero has been declared to be bad doesn't exonerate KSH. How he treated KSR remains suspect. He needs to keep paying his armies of lawyers, fixers & public relations spin doctors to divert attention while they polish his stank.
only 14 episodes, i wonder if the real shin seo ri is ever coming back to her actual body?
Maybe she's trapped in the recesses of her mind, unable to do anything but watch as her body is possessed by a discarnate soul or maybe her own past life personality?
for the point 1 I also immediately remembered the scene of Seori and Grandpa and when I think again it was so…
I also consider they have the same oversoul, but each personality is still a valid individuation. To have an astrological event (eclipse + comet) overwrite one personality in favor of another seems capricious because it treats the current personage as expendable. It'd be preferable were this to be a walk-in scenario where there was an agreement made to relinquish the body.
