damn, like chinese drama more than kdrama now. no need to wait till next year in order to watch the actress new drama or even realize that my favourite actress dissapear after succeed with one kdrama
if they double the episode, i believe the story are going develope well but yeah this is jdrama thing luckily i never hate this kind of weirdness because this is part the cultural thing / their habbit if jdrama can make me smile (whatever kind of smile it is), they succeed to entertain myself
its not a romance how can a romance in the dark and gloomy settings its hard to see beautiful thing about romance in this kind of setting and power chase and slander storyline this is another version of something in the rain
when it comes to melo, i prefer on Chocolate (2019) thats the example of good melodrama and romance

One more thing I’ve noticed: C-dramas have grown exponentially since COVID. They offer much more now, including a wider range of streaming platforms and easier access for international viewers. Plus, most dramas finish airing within two weeks to a month—impressive, considering we don’t have to wait for just two episodes per week like with K-dramas.

I’ve noticed this phenomenon since 2019. The years 2016–2017 were the golden age of K-dramas—most dramas released during that period were truly outstanding. But things started to decline in 2019, and the COVID era delivered the final blow. Many K-dramas were affected: episodes were cut or not aired as scheduled.
I thought once COVID ended, scriptwriters would get a fresh start and bring back the signature 'K-drama identity' with strong storytelling—but unfortunately, the quality still hasn’t bounced back. Sure, a few dramas maintain good quality, but they don’t reach the same majority standard we saw in 2016–2017

Dragon Zakura for me was good, i watched that drama last year when i cant found a good kdrama
refreshing /good drama for the studying genre.
never found again kdrama with the focusing on studying/ youth dream
it means i have to look at the old drama, the hardest drama to find on streaming platform (legal/ ilegal)
