As for the straight character tag, you don't see straight lead character tag either, while there is gay main character. And it's because LGBTQ+ rep is media is less than straight romance (with most of them being gay/BL) so, with the tag it would be easier to find dramas for people who want them. For example transgender, non-binary ect characters are less so if someone wants a character with those identity or sexuality, even a guest could be a big rep.. But I do get it, it's dramatic.
