It was supposed to be 20 episodes, but for some reason they cut to 18 so we had some plot holes. The autor's script had Black choosing to sacrifice himself and dying for real saving Ha Ram in the process . But the director wanted a happy ending so he wrote that horrible thing we got with the bad makeup...

She had to make fit in the kdrama cliche narrative and going rogue wouldn't do. Remember Black ending? The autor tried something different only to be stopped by the director...

I doubt they'll have sensibility enough to not use this as just a plot device. Observing the writer I'd say she'll put hjp living with grandma in the end so she would be busy having someone to take care and that's the happy ending.

He deserved a round story line to respect his importance to the history but he'll just be left heart broken and without a family...

Also he said he wasn't comfortable around him yet. Fo real? She always was comfortable to be nosy and say what she wanted to say to him wth the writer is talking about?
