Yes, I like the fact that they changed the novel to give XK more screen time because who wants to to see a drama without the main leads together.?Yes, it can only get better ... 11 was just a little scattered with minor characters ... hopefully, from 12 on it will be more. I know that in the novel, her birthday kickstarts their relationship ...

That's why you need to look the number of people rating those unaired episodes. Only 3 or 4 people rated them for this drama so it's not going to effect the average of 590 people!

Ok so if you are interested in the ex-bf. He will get together with her best friend (not like that in the novel). She will give him the money he invested in her company when it got sold. She made peace with him and her at the end because she understands that she and him just don't work out because of different goals in life.

You are not the only one. I read the novel. I skipped the first part of the novel (only read for context). Trust me, the drama is already better than the novel in the first section. I also fast forward parts of the drama that I find boring.

This is the problem with C drama - they want to make 40 episodes so there's bound to be fillers and draggy episodes.

The 2nd part of the novel coming up (after ep 12) is way better because it will focus on more their romance. I hope that they will have more screen time for the couple.

It's not slow burn romance at all ... I think it's going ok pace... but I think the drama can do so much better if they had given more couple screen time ... I mean I can understand that they already made huge improvements on the novel in this section. But they can do even better :-) by giving the main leads more screen time together.
This is tougher for the writer because they have to create new materials.

For people who are sampling, they only watch a few episodes ... they are not patient to wait for ep 14 or 15 where the leads have more screen time together.

Yes, I skipped A LOT in the first section of the novel .... just read enough to understand the context ... And as I said, they made it much better already.

It's not that the romance is slow. It's just that I would like to see more main couple interaction instead of other things/people. How much time did we see the main couple have screen time together? for example in ep 11? Not too much. Just here and there at most 5minutes?

As I said, they made a lot of changes already so it's already much better than the beginning of the novel for me.

Usually people who sample dramas, they will only watch the first few episodes. Luckily, I already know the story, like the actress; otherwise, I would have given up too.

What I am trying to say to those people who sample this drama is that the story will be more interesting later on, less business, and more romance.

For people who are checking out this drama and wonder if it's worth it, this is one of those dramas that have a slow start (not in terms of romance but couple screen time).

This drama has already made it A LOT better in the beginning by changing the novel to allow more involvement with HT, the ML.

So I think if you are patient and wait for a better development later on, you will be rewarded. It has 40 episodes so they have to tell the story slowly ... it will be much better after 12, less fillers in the middle.

From the looks of things, she will end up with the nice guy ... JX friend.

It's a personal choice. I always rate first after a few episodes. I do change my rating as the drama progresses.

It's low because not everyone who watches the drama has rated. Out of the 8000 supposedly watching this, only 550 have rated it. Some of these ratings are from people who have dropped the drama and rated it quite low.

You can check out another drama Road Home or Master of My Own ... to compare. It is all personal opinions.

Ep 11 preview

Yes, they are both good people... that's why she never really got angry with YC ... she even gave him the invested money and profit later on. She can see that the personalities/goals are different.

HT, from the novel and also drama, is a busy man. He doesn't have time do trivial stuff ... He runs an empire. So the mentality will be different from the YC, who does have free time to go dating, watch movies, and cooks.
In fact, HT specifically tells JX that he doesn't have time to cook with her all the time. Once in a while is ok.
It just works out better for her as she is also busy with her career and they are in the same field.
