This one doesn't have unnecessary break-ups or misunderstandings, which is refreshing; the romance is pretty cute and I really liked the coming-of-age/friendships angle as we followed the boys' sports team. In fact, I think I actually cared more about the kids than the adults, and I wish we got more about the soccer team and the sports itself, in addition to the more conceptual themes of friendship and perseverance.

There are other things that didn't work quite as well for me (though none of them were real negatives). Esther Yu picks great scripts but her acting doesn't really feel natural enough to me and this was no different; I don't think I felt really convinced by any of the more highly-charged or emotional scenes, and it doesn't help that I wasn't the biggest fan of the mystery/investigation plot. The dramatics of it felt a little out-of-place in a drama that felt mostly down-to-earth.

Still, I appreciate that none of the aforementioned things led to frustrating developments between the leads. It's always so refreshing to see communication in dramas.
