ML does not forgive her after that, he only realizes that there might be something more and that she might not have acted without reason (confirmed by FLs little sister telling him she is actually pretty insecure) so he decides to give her a chance at the real apology.

i would suggest watching at least episode 16 and to decide whether to drop the drama then. the drama itself clearly communicates that it was wrong of zhuang jie to say that but it also does a good job of explaining why she behaved the way she did
