the “old guy” you’re complaining about is literally the main character. reading the synopsis would’ve saved you the confusion.

i think some comments are funny because there’s no way 😭 it’s already episode 9 and people are only now realizing there’s a slight romance? they’re basically dating at this point. or do people think romance only counts if there’s kissing? the writer kept it subtle, and since it’s not the main focus, it shows up in little moments like the way she looks at him as if her whole world suddenly has color.

so your comparison basically turned into a whole police report about a puddle in traffic. at this point you’re about to include the car’s speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, and witness statements just to say “use the spoiler tag.”

i’ve been in japan for like a year or two now and i’ve had friends say that to me. my friend here actually says it to me pretty often. it’s not super common, but modern japan is a bit different nowadays.
