this is the first time in a while i am watching something during its 1st airing day and i think i will follow the rest of the air period closely. i am so excited :>
i started it because i wanted this concept to happen in BL since 2015 after watching exo next door. it started out really good and then it kinda felt like a chore to watch in the middle, but the ending episodes finished off strong, so my mind is convinced that it deserves a high rating.
i was surprised at how similar tpop scene is to kpop culture and yes i get that famous kpop groups have thai members and that was a huge influence on thai content, but they could have been a little more creative about it.
about the plot, it's the most basic and very predictable plot so i could just sit back and watch without getting frustrated. it didn't turn out boring to me but i feel like i would have dropped it if i watched it all in one go. anyways, it served what it promised so an 8/10 :>
it has been proven again; 2nd seasons of a hit 1st season almost always ruin everything. i am dropping at 1st episode because i can already tell the writing is going to be weak. i feel so conflicted because if i just clench my teeth and sit through a little bit more i might get hooked but ya i don't have the motivation to continue. maybe i will pick it up later but that's not going to be anytime soon so for now, bye girl :>
well i discovered it about 10 mins before watching it and just went in without thinking anything because i really needed something to do while waiting for the next ep of amnse. and i am so glad i found this. i really really really liked it. i was just in a trance and watched everything in a day. i think i will watch more of these wattpad adaptations like these are the series that my 15-year-old self would have had as her personality. it's cringe at times but i have seen worse so i wasn't really bothered by it. and lord can we talk about these gods and goddesses???? they are all so cute, hot, handsome and beautiful. i found myself clicking on pause every few mins just to stare at their faces.
other than that, i am really scared to watch s2. i don't like where this is going and looks like there will be more misunderstandings. they finally got together and i think jump off a building if they are apart even for a sec but i don't like leaving things unfinished so we will watch it anyway lol.
8/10, i think not everyone will like it but you should give it a try for the chemistry between the leads, it's really cute.
i hate spoilers. i just accidently read one and already want to kill myself but i do want to know one more thing. at the end of book 3, jay ends up with keifer right? just a simple yes or no please. i don't want to read any more spoilers ðŸ˜
yah this story was a tad bit better when it's short. the plot doesn't have much to begin with so 13 eps of 45 mins each maybe wasn't the right format. anyways, its literally the same, but they made it much more comprehensible. they took out all the dry humor, not overly cringe, removed characters that didn't do anything for the plot and cut out every unnecessary scene and it surprisingly turned out good. i was also so happy when i realized they were blending the stories together unlike the thai version which made a whole other section.
actors? i think they all acted great and i don't think i had any problem with the thai version acting too, except noeul. and god such handsome people if i could i would build a shrine for each one of them to worship them.
characters? the character sketch is so on point and i liked all the characters just like the thai version but i think i liked rei here more than the rain there. still a whiny character but i guess acting is better.
and special mention, that was a good NC scene in ep 4, i usually skip over it in any BLs i watch but this was hot. i rewatched just that for like 5-6 times lol.
i gave LITA a 7 on my first watch. i guess i liked it ok during the first watch but the second time, which was just to get me prepared for this, was just too long and boring. it ended up at 3/10 and in my dropped list. so the rating i am giving is surprising to me too. like its literally the same story why is it higher. idk maybe i am just in a better mood.

i won't lie the trailer is a bit underwhelming. i just waited too long so my expectations were up there and i feel like things can easily turn boring if the plot isn't handled well, i don't know how to explain but it just sounds very wattpad-y but still i am happy it's going to be out soon. i will definitely be there but maybe a bit late :)
i added it my ptw after watching that one youtube short. tbh i don't even know what i was expecting maybe a sweet love story but it turned out to be so depressing, confusing and all over the place, i don't think i am deep enough to understand it, 4.5/10 is the best i can give :v
i'm gonna be honest i really had no plans of watching it at all until a week ago. the actors don't have any works that i particularly like and dunk's acting used to make me want to smash my laptop so it really is surprising that i liked it more than i thought i would, maybe because i went in with really low expectations or maybe it's just that good idk let's get to it.
the plot is fairly good if you don't think much while watching it. things got a bit mid in the later episodes and you might need to throw the logic out of the window sometimes to fully enjoy it but other than that, i thought it was written well. the dialogues were also pretty good. but then again, did it really serve what it promised in the trailers? i don't think so. i don't really care about NC so whatever i guess but it was advertised with this image of action packed, super dark with a hint of sexy vibe but instead felt like romcom. well, it's gmmtv we are talking about so there's no use complaining about that. poles apart, would be the right word to describe their trailers and actual series.
i found myself liking joongdunk pairing and their side of the stroy alot more than firstkhao. it was shocking to me too because i atleast liked firstkhao a little in the eclipse but i used to hate joongdunk with a passion. they were just pretty faces and had no chemi whatsoever in their previous series but maybe a decent plot and few acting lessons for dunk was all they needed to make it better.
about the characters, kant-bison were too cheesy and boring. i think i liked bison in that island episode but other than that nothing about them stood out to me. i just thought their character sketch didn't really match the setting of the series. and fadel-style? i can write paragraphs about them but let's keep it cute. i liked them so much and just think they are very interesting characters. i especially liked style very much. he is just so lovable. i would categorize him with cher from a boss and a babe. like these two are sooo crazy in a good way. i just love them.
as for acting, i think they all did really well but you can definitely see the imbalance between joong and dunk sometimes and yah maybe it did put me off here and there but i think he improved a lot. sky in my heart was mid and his acting was horrible and the hidden agenda... well their entire agenda should have stayed hidden so it's surprising that i liked him so much in this one. idk if it's because the plot is fairly good or my liking for style just made everything better, i just liked dunk a lot in this. i am seeing him in a new light.
will i watch their future projects? thin chances. i didn't like the pilot for dare you to death and still think some other pairing would be great in it but i will rethink my choices after the actual trailer comes out. and for firstkhao, umm no? i don't want to watch mr. cat hater and his meow talker boyfriend sorry no thank you. that's the stupidest plot i have ever heard. firstkhao should watch out for themselves, someone in that company is after their career.
