girl i really don't want to move past 8th ep. all this time it was a weirdly cute and romantic story and now at 9th ep, i can sense the misunderstanding and breakup plot coming from miles away 😭 omg i hate this hope i am wrong and don't spoil it in my comments even if I am wrong :)
finally got around to finishing it and i have to say i enjoyed it for the most part. i was pretty excited for it, like not counting days but these two have works that i really liked so i was looking forward to it.
i read the summary so many times but maybe i am dumb or it just was not written properly, i never realised it was forbidden love kinda thing. the summary gave more of working together kinda vibe both knowing the other's identity already. so the forbidden love arc was a pleasant surprise, it's more of my jam and i throughly enjoyed it even though it didn't last that long.
other than that, i really really really loved tian xiwei in this. like casting her as the cat lord is just perfect. her character is also sooo good. domineering when she has to be but also bubbly at the same time. whether it be her outfits, makeup, hairstyles, everything is just so pretty and perfect.
storywise, i binge-watched most of it except the last 2-3 eps. the last ones were kinda a lackluster so it took me awhile get around to finishing it but still i liked most of it so i will give it a 9⭐, def recommend you to watch it.

the first page they made for this drama on this website was just "shine" with no versions whatsoever, has now been converted to shine (orchestric ver). people added initial "shine" to their watchlists, so they are more active over there.

well, if you don't think much about it, it's a good and entertaining drama except the last two episodes. but if you think deep you will realize, they put red paint on a crow, wrapped it with pretty words and presented it like a phoenix.
i came in for a silly little revenge turned love story but shit got serious real quick. it was mostly great with a few flaws i couldn't ignore but despite all that, it was still very good. the ending scene is so well made. i will remember it for a long time. and i don't think they are going to work together again but i will keep supporting them in their future works. 9/10.
