This is one of those shows that for me the entire show hinges on how well they do the eventual reveal to the ML of how messed up the FLs circumstances are and how he reacts to having been so harsh to her. I really hope it's satisfying...

Man this show looks so good.... But your not fooling me this time Korea, there is no universe where a story like this doesn't have a soul crushing ending...

For a moment it was sounding like this show was going to be about the FL having to relearn her role as a woman in their society and deal with all the trauma and other issues from battle and the abuse to make her tough like a man. I really wanna see that drama now...

I went back to rewatch this and a few episodes in I was thinking "is this the right show?" The story and characters change sooo much throughout the show it's basically a whole different show by the end. Also my first watch went so fast I forgot how long it is

It's a complex issue right? It goes into the soul, spirit, body and life experiences. What really makes a person that person? Is he in love with a shell made from a small portion of Qingge and her memories? It's a complex philosophical/biological/theological discussion way above my level of knowledge

Kinda makes it a bit bitter sweet eh? Essentially the woman he was chasing was dead and gone. It reminds of of that ghost kdrama where the girl never gets her memories back essentially meaning the girl he fell for at first never comes back. The anime bunny girl senpai is the only show I've seen that discusses this when they realize his sister as she is is going to die when she reawakens as herself from years prior. It was a really heart wrenching scene that was also happy. It was really tough and emotionally confusing.

I'm not saying which makes more sense it's just unfortunate. But she also spent a long time as MQG, a much stronger personality. It would have been nice to see that strong personality emerge more.

Sadly they kept it ran ran with MQG's memories. I loved her original strong personality and wish she returned more to that. MQG affectively remains dead.
