You latch onto her telling him that she was part of the dirty tricks, but that was just an anger response to seeing him, the love of her life, with the woman that he cheated on her.

They could have made the mom's condition clearer, but she was obviosuly in ill health, hence the FL being so adamant about her not setting up a stall at night.

It seems pretty reasonable for someone to be confused when dealing with the love of their life harshly dumping them, then finding them with another woman the next day, then missing your mother's death because you went to see the love of your life to find out why he so harshly dumped you. You L&P fans are really somehting else.

Yeah, her getting married to someone else after he broke her heart and caused her to miss her mother's death is truly disgusting.

She didn't break up with him he dumped her and they were apart for 6 years, not together for 6.

It had a lot of pacing issues and some people didn't appreciate that the FL had resentment towards the ml breaking her heart.

The writer or director really made a bad choice to delay showing what happened to the FL's mother. If that had been shown right after the breakup, or at least right away after the reunion, I think this show would have been better received.

If by dumbest, you mean the totally logical and obvious conclusion to the evidence that she had available to her, then I agree. Some other girl, probably not the same reaction, but her stalking harasser, whom she knows wants the ML...

She literally moved to another city and used money and connections to get a job she wasn't qualified for solely to harass the FL lead. Her only redeeming quality was her support for the ML when everything was going bad for him. Which, I'm guessing is the only thing you care about.

I wonder what the reception would have been for this show if L&P hadn't come out first.

No one has claimed that she is the greatest character. Just that she is not the horrible beast you make her out to be.

She thought he cheated because snotty rich chick, who previously stalked FL to her job so she could harass her every day in the hopes of breaking the two of them up so she could be with him, came down his stairs wearing only his shirt. Who wouldn't think cheating in that scenario?

How did she try to destroy his company? She was assigned, by her boss, the task of getting the gym to accept outside investment. The only thing I can think of is the dirty trick with the runner, but she had nothing to do with that.

And why is it a problem for her to let her EX-boyfriend who cruelly dumped her believe she married someone else? How is that bad?

I guess that was one of the scenes I missed, as I don't recall him ever saying or alluding to it being hard to be in a relationship when the other person is giving zilch. In fact, I think I remember his reasoning actually being that he didn't want to be a burden to her. It feels like projection.

Since when did she ask him to give her things? And who asked him to shoulder everything?

I just realized I had replied to a post of yours before. As before, the FL clearly has been written to be a kind and caring individual, and there has been plenty of evidence in the show to demonstrate it. It really is like I'm taking crazy pills.

Finally, someone sees it. She uses her connections to get a job she isn't qualified for in order to harass the FL every day. Absolutely insane.

I really feel like I must've missed a bunch of scenes in this show, as I do not get these comments at all. Move on? She hasn't been seeking him out. If not for work she wouldn't have been interacting with at all. He cheated on her (while we know the truth, she doesn't) and she didn't want to ever see him again. That doesn't make her superwoman, just normal.

People here trying to make her being way, way busier than a college student into some huge crime. Utterly bizarre. Outside of her being too busy, what exactly did she do that creates all the hate? I might be biased though, as the ML's forcing her to accept his money (they had not been dating long enough for that) and then showing that he will 100% leave if his life gets difficult in the past were big negatives to me.

I think she will be angry that he lied to her, but the hate that she currently (rightfully) has will go away.

If you want to break up with someone, lieing that you cheated on them is incredibly mean. Making her think he left her for the snotty rich girl is even worse. He deserves to be hated by her.

I will agree with your last sentence. He went far too overboard in the relationship. Fundamentally just a problem with them both being young and immature.

I think it was a mistake to have him be in school for a year after she had already graduated. There is such a discrepancy in time and energy for a new employee (working 70+ hours a week) and a college student (even one with his sneaker side project) that the give and take in their relationship would always be imbalanced (made even worse due her poverty and his wealth).

Cold, calculating and ambitious seems rather harsh for someone who covered for her fellow employee who had previously been giving her a hard time. She may be cold now to ML, but there is no indication that she is that way with anyone else. She has maintained long friendships and seems much liked by her assistant, neither of which I would expect of someone cold and calculating.

She knows why. He dumped her to get together with the rich chick who had been very obviously pursuing him. They've been together for 6 years and work together.

That may not be the actual truth, but its the truth according to what he told her.
