The FL has no flaws. She's so perfect. She can figure everything out on her own. She can solve every problem.

You see this type of FL in many Chinese dramas. However I think Lan Xiang's character is different, in that, whenever she overcomes a situation, it is completely believable.

I have to agree. FL seems particularly distainful of Prince Li. He was just a child when the Lishan attendants were killed and he was not responsible. It seems the sins of her own family, responsible for the deaths of Gen. Mo and 30K soldiers, are far graver.

I can never understand the point of dubbing an actor's voice. The voice is one of the actor's greatest tools for conveying emotion. IMO the authentic voice of an actor will always be better than a dubbed voice.

I feel that maybe there will be a back story that explains why JH remains friends with DM. In the scenes with just the two of them, they really seem to care about each other and enjoy each other's company. I loved the scene where DM caught the falling leaf and showed joy in that simple act.

I'm only on episode 3 but I agree with everything you wrote. I really like the fox visuals. The only styling I don't like is the FL's. I don't like the cutesy look she has. I hope that changes.
