I have a feeling that he might be using her to get to her dad. The whole scene where she eavesdrops on him in the hospital now seems like a set up to me. It was to get her to trust him to further the trap for her dad.

Well put. I was just thinking it reminds me a lot of A Dream of Splendor.

I think what's so great about the FL is the way she moves her eyes gives a lot of insight into personality and what she's thinking. The ML's face is very expressionless. That might be by intent but I think its just too flat.

I know! I wish the ML's face was more expressive. I don't know if that's how he was directed? Or his acting style. The FL has amazing micro expressions.

I thought it wasn't a character that was introduced yet. But I could be wrong.

I saw that teaser scene of her crying while holding onto a woman. But I don't think it's her mother.

After episode 13, I'm unsure how the ML really feels about the FL. Anyone have any opinions?

I am trying to get into this drama for a bit of escapism but the FL is so OTT, a brat, not very smart and can't walk in heels. I think if her character was mores subtle, the plot would be stronger.

The FL is so expressive with her eyes. You can see what she's thinking and feeling.

I know someone who was abused by their mother. You really can't understand the desperation a person feels in those circumstances - to be acknowledged and loved by their mother. To give their abusive parent multiple chances at redemption. Because the alternative - that they are unloveable, is soul destroying.

Finished episode 6. So good. I love the more subtle plot.
