Amen. I feel you. It's true that they do get off on the reactions of other people. To be frank, ignoring them is indeed the best policy. That day I guess I simply couldn't get over their holier than thou attitude. LOL.
Yet, every dang drama has to have it. To LR's credit, it was done so well. The drama I refered to in my previous comment is May I Help You. Till now, piggyback rides in MIHY and LR didn't make me cringe. However, the one in MIHY was chef's kiss.
This one feels so unnatural. There has only been one drama wherein a piggyback ride did not feel like an overused trope. It felt organic and so unrehearsed.
I also saw that long thread with that hater. I just can't stand the rudeness. He or she randomly picking fights…
Preach! Even though I am absolutely loving this drama and find it highly re-watchable. Oddly, enough, I feel Lovely Runner is so much closer to the tone and feel of SOOD than the KDrama remake could ever aspire to be.
I DON'T MEAN SUCH DISRESPECT. BUT WHY AM I SEEING NEGTIVE BASELESS COMMENTS FROM A CERTAIN SOMEONE, WHO IS SHAMING…
No one should get away after dropping f-bombs, that too without provocation. There was a troll here a few days ago who was utterly disrespectful and abhorrent. I totally understand finding a show trash that others love, but I absolutely abhor those who bash others for loving a show. Sometimes, they do need to be called out in a way similar to how they insult others. Disagreement is natural and we can disagree without swearing and calling people blind. Well, I will just leave it at this.
Guys, you don't have to engage in a long debate with people who express their dislike of this drama. Personally,…

Thank you for such a detailed reply! I am saving this. I love linguistics, even though I am not in any way an expert. Also, I absolutely love the way Japanese sounds. The moment I read that it reads Yuki, I wondered inwardly, if it meant courage. (A result of my limited knowledge from watching Japanese stuff. 😁) And you went onto explain that it means just that. I love that you put so much thought into your username. Apparently, there also exists its homophone, which means courage. Just that the word for this particular meaning has a different spelling in the Japanese script and consequently, is differently romanised. I think it's romanised as "yukii". Thank you as I learned something new today. Hugs! 🥰
It's really crazy that when I first watched the drama, I watched it for KHY and BWS even though I hated the synopsis.…
In all honesty, I had only read a few stray articles here and there about the main actors being good at their job. Also, when Lovely Runner was first written about on MDL, I admit I had rolled my eyes to high heaven. I never planned on watching it, tbh. Even though, I like travel through time. My main reason being I rarely like high school settings. There have been very few ones that have been done well. The only reason I checked out the first episode when it first came out to distract myself from real life circumstances, prepared for however annoying it might be. Till date, very few dramas have proved my instincts wrong (including the factor whether I would like them) . I can proudly say this is one of them.
Thank you as I learned something new today. Hugs! 🥰
