Title Dream to You Spoiler
Specially after seeing his portfolio, it’s not really that surprising why the ML feels betrayed - not for himself…
True! 😂

So true! I even like the fact that even Soo Bin might have dated in the past too. His response and final reaction…
I was cringing so hard when all those comments were blowing up on LFY's page. The most hilarious part was that even Chen Yi was pretty unbothered. 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

IKR?! WSB hilariously going on about being polite while grilling JYJ relentlessly about her exes was so dang hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣 A nice tongue-in-cheek tweak of a tired trope.

IKR?! She seems to be on a mission to make both her children miserable. 😑

True! You are so right... There's indeed a very child like quality to his overall personality when he's around JYJ. I liked how they presented them both the following morning. It felt very organic and realistic. Otherwise, in most dramas, the leads act so befuddling-ly chaste after their encounter.

I, too, feel the same way. He perhaps wished to be properly settled, before he reached out so as to avoid a repeat of what happened all those years ago.

TMAI! There were a few instances early on when I did wonder about his behaviour and approach towards JYJ. Viewers here were getting annoyed while I couldn't quite understand him even though I could tell he wasn't being cocky, and he was coming across as genuinely oblivious. Kudos to the writer for turning everything on its head. 😁

Remember how viewers were having a catastrophic, collective meltdown in Love for You, LMAO.

Interesting observation about how WSB's loves JYJ! You are right. Also, in those early episodes, the way he was bumbling about, trying to win her back in honestly aggravating ways from JYJ's perspective (rightly so) feels like a callback in light of recent events. In the past, he tried to "fix" the problem by trying to beseech his birth mother to raise him, and fast forward to the future, he clung to JYJ to have her give him another chance. When you think about it, he has a very emotionally stunted guy like approach to trying to fix things. Teenager him lacked light, so he declared to teenager JYJ that he is going to like her and be like her, obviously due to absence of healthy adult role models in his own life. His oddities make so much sense in hindsight.

Excellent analogy!

True! Like attracts like, LOL. I can see why these two scummy individuals dated even though WSB's father did both women dirty. The fact that she can gloat in front of WSB after all these years makes her absolutely shameless.

Exactly! This drama does so many things right. 😍 Also, I like how some things are said in passing, yet, are very significant. Like how WSB observes to himself that his childhood friend is a good dad as he watches the retreating figures of his friend and his son.

Preach! It's so rare to see persons of opposite gender being just good friends in dramaland. I can think of only one Chinese drama executing this aspect well. Dramas will have you believe that heterosexual men and women can only be lovers which is so untrue! 🤷🏻‍♀️

IKR?! All the pieces are coming together nicely. I love slice-of-life dramas with romance thrown in as the subplot. While this drama has its flaws, it also possesses this inexplicable charm that makes me tune in every week. I think I am going to be rewatching this drama in the future.

LMAO, she so didn't. Can't wait for her to eat her words, hehe.

Ooh... Boy would I love that!!! I am kinda hoping for a kiss scene for both of them in character for the movie such that when the directors say, "Cut!", they keep on kissing oblivious to the fact that the scene is over.

EXACTLY my point. I love that she doesn't dwell on stuff once she has the necessary facts. Tbh, I don't really think the drama needs to explicitly state why JYJ has had her closure. It's pretty evident from all that has transpired since WSB returned and their conversations with each other. JYJ never brushes off her heartbreak and struggles before WSB when he left all those years ago, yet, she also explains to him why she in recent times has been able to get past those negative feelings which in some ways also help WSB to get closure.

TMAI. What I loved about the scene is that his adoptive mother acknowledged the messiness of the situation, while also reassuring him. Also, his childhood explains why he got so attached to JYJ. Gosh, it's been a while since I absolutely adored an FL. JYJ was effortlessly kind and WSB clung onto that kindness for dear life. JYJ is what I like to term as a dude's dude and a girl's girl.

Where is the White Truck of Doom when you need one?!

I so want An Sr. to get her just desserts. I abhor persons who try to take away other individuals' agency.

Usually drunk and back hug scenes make me roll my eyes. But their scene was so painfully beautiful. I feel worse for SYG. For him, it's like damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. 🥺 Tbh, I don't think either would be able to break away from their contracts for now.

True! My respect for his adoptive mother shot through the roof. Very early on, JYJ's mum had alluded to WSB's mother for ruining JYJ's life. I guess it really was WSB's psychopathic father getting his wife to do his dirty work. It certainly feels like WSB's mother just couldn't bear to leave WSB to that psychopath. Also, abuse victims tend to reconcile themselves to their lived reality which explains why even after WSB had broken free of his father's control, she continued to stay. I was kinda hoping that WSB would beat the living daylights out of his father, but conventional morality would not allow that in a drama.

It kinda hurt a little when both SYG and OHN tried to protect each other from An Sr., LOL. Them being in love without quite even realising, and more recently, acknowledging it. What I love about this drama is that the first and the second leading couples have very realistic conflicts. Mark my words, An Sr.'s assistant is so going to sell her very messy story to the tabloids sooner or later.

Dang. After watching today's episode, it seems that the drama may try to redeem An Sr.

If I remember correctly, the first time I ever saw her was in Who are You, where her character was the love interest of the FL's father and the character was quite cute. So whenever I see her playing a POS, I am like OMG... Why have you lost yourself?!... LMAO.

TMAI. She somehow knew just how to exploit his vulnerability. Pretty spiteful, if you think from the perspective of her daughter.

I don't know why everyone is hating in the comments (even if I respect everyone opinion). I love this drama !!!!!…
I so agree! While this is not a perfect drama by any means, yet, it does possess an inexplicable charm. Also, I loved how JYJ came to reciprocate WSB's feelings. It wasn't any grand declaration of undying love, the entire scene almost felt ruminative. What an organic scene!

I couldn't have explained it better myself. It's obvious why WSB is mad at SYG. Also, given An Sr.'s attitude/working style, his bitterness towards her is not unwarranted. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Title Love for You Spoiler
I’m actually glad you’re giving it a chance because I think Love for You is one of those dramas that asks…
First of all, sending virtual hugs your way. 🤗 Secondly, it's alright if the drama isn't working for you. I'd suggest not spending any more time, because the tone of LFY doesn't change in the latter half. Tbh, NES didn't work for me at all, even though I like ZKY and a few others in the supporting cast. For lack of a better word, the stakes felt very shallow. Yet, it's a well loved drama. So, there are times when some dramas just don't appeal to a certain section of the viewers. Perhaps, you found something very fundamentally striking that I didn't, while I found that something in LFY. It happens. Personally, I loved how Chen Yi and Miao Jing's relationship is presented in LFY. I like the subtlety. Also, there have been times that certain dramas were extremely hated here, yet, I absolutely loved them, LOL.
