from the guys? NONE, literally, I don’t think there is anyone that comes to mind. Right now I feel like all of them have said something to irritate me and I have no faith in them 😭 but obviously, I am human, I do empathize with them and I felt really bad when the game developer guy (his name has completely slipped my mind) did not get picked for a date. I also liked Hyuk joon but I feel like he has a self confidence complex and he needs to work on that.
Out of the girls, I like Hyunseo (mostly because she is an anime lover and I’m like 70% sure she is a bl watcher because of her mention of the anime Ouran Boys School lol). This is just my completely biased preference for her but I will admit that she could improve how she communicates and this whole playing hard to get tactic is not really great for her.
I also like Suji because she seems really confident and cool (I like her job) but other than that, I don’t like any of the guys she is going for 😭 so I have nothing to say on that note.

Exactly!! I completely saw this coming and honestly it’s so upsetting because why go in full throttle like that when there is a high chance that you could change your mind? There’s nothing wrong with changing your mind but I feel like it’s so misleading and it can really hurt people :/
The fact that NONE of the men rushed to the hill to ring the bell just gave me the biggest ick and I am never going to forget that when I interpret any of them - plus, it just goes to show how superficial men can be (just in general) in terms of that fact that they rarely show any interest in actually trying to get to know women like what they like or who they are on the inside.
It seems like it always just comes down to 'looking pretty' and that's even considered the biggest compliment you can receive from a man from what I have seen reality tv shows like singles inferno as well.
Sometimes I feel bad for Korean women - THIS is what they have to put up with and the 4b movement makes so much sense when you look at the context!

omg I think you should definitely give this another chance! I will be honest with you - it's not a rewatch worthy show for me but I watched it about 4 years ago and I still remember it till this day so it had to have been good. I do agree that the pacing is a bit boring and yawning but it starts to pick up in the middle and I feel like it's a show you just have to sit and binge to really like it. We all have our own tastes though so this could just not be your cup of tea. If you don't mind me asking, what is your top 1 bl?

I couldn’t agree more. This is so true and it definitely sheds light on the more serious and often ignored topics in Korea. There is even a tendency to romanticize or glorify the country because of how kdramas often feature it as if it’s a fairytale in romcoms and all but this show definitely lays out all the flaws and I really like that.

Someone recommended this to me a few days ago and I started watching it. I loved the first episode - it actually made me laugh out loud like a comedy drama is supposed to do but then from there on I just witnessed it go downhill in my opinion. After episode 10 I told myself I have had enough. I’m not a fan of the brother/sister trope in general because I feel like it is border lining incest but I was interested to see how the show would make it work. Not only did I get bored watching it but the melodrama!!! The melodrama is not my cup of tea! I thought this might be a bit more like Reply 1988 with a goofy female lead and her male companions just living their teenage years while living in different family dynamics but this was not that. So I completely relate to this review and I just realized that if I don’t like it then I do not need to force myself to watch any more of it.

Okay so now that I have finished watching I can tell you that it has a bittersweet ending. I feel like it is very angsty and sad but if you're interested in that then you might enjoy this. I didn't really like it towards the end because I feel like it was a bit redundant and annoying to be honest but that's just my take!
