I will most probably check this out when it drops and see if they were using emotional(/ even physical) cheating as a narrative tool or if it's played up as this huge thing when there are other conflicts in their relationship that they work through instead. That this whole 'new partners' thing is just a bait to get attention ?? hmm Because honestly the two 2nd leads are not usually main casts and get at most support cast roles. So if this drama was REALLY betting on the popularity of or the chemistry between any on screen pairing, it would most definitely be the two main leads. So I STRONGLY feel they are playing in our faces, IF NOT, I'd have trouble continuing it.
There is also the conversation about 'moral policing' in the comments here. I do agree that shows and movies CAN portray infidelity or cheating. It's not like erasing it from media will erase it from the real world. But not everyone WANTS to see a show where you feel you have to keep thinking about the unfaithful behavior in a committed relationship. And yeah, those people can simply ignore this show, but man.....THE CAST !!
Anyhow i'm a mess, if you are chill with the cheating, well congrats. If you are poly maybe you don't even give a shi. But yeah this drop is making everyone mad lol.
So, this has actual cheating??? That completely ruins the show for me. I'm skipping this, even though I like both…
I was JUST getting excited when I saw the main cast on the trailer's thumbnail. Then when I paid closer attention to the dialogues I was shocked. Like WHY are we using infidelity troupe to push two people together ?? I get the feeling they are making it seem like there is cheating when there isn't ?? Either way I don't like having mixed emotional reactions when I want to enjoy a romance drama ESPECIALLY with the chemistry that I COULD have with these two !!
You mean you are so absurdly delusional and loyal to a man who is a human and WILL have shitty takes like this.
Are you going to bring up the fact that phones are not made ethically ?? save it. I know and I don't buy phones every time they drop. and if you are going to make arguments about how many other industries are also impacting the environment negatively, then you can save yourself the trouble as well. Unlike AI, ppl do still need a phone to get by in the modern day and time. So the comparison doesnt even stand.
You mean you are so absurdly delusional and loyal to a man who is a human and WILL have shitty takes like this.
lmao what ??? i literally enjoy his dramas and acting. heard he was a decent/ good guy in general. he really slipped with this one. Admitting that ISNT wrong. i don't need to kiss his ass just cause i like his acting.
You mean you are so absurdly delusional and loyal to a man who is a human and WILL have shitty takes like this.
You lot keep yapping about 'inevitable change' and ' new jobs' when AI's effects are already visible and especially felt by people who don't have the fukin privilege to choose what they even do. AI is already impacting the integrity of art, especially independent artists who incur costs and gain no profit when they put their art out there. but of course, corporations and popular actors can conveniently use this amazing 'new tech' generate a song or art for promos with little to no cost and that is somehow fair ? You keep trying to define my replies as hate or angst. Idc what you take it as, your argument simply does not stand for me. UNLESS i was so helplessly obsessed with a human. Actors are just like politicians, give them too much of your support, they can disappoint you.
You mean you are so absurdly delusional and loyal to a man who is a human and WILL have shitty takes like this.
AI will persist because that's what tech companies want you to depend on. But there is nothing wrong with being against data centers being built on 3rd world countries or places with less privileged people who now, can't even have fresh drinking water for free. I m not ignorant, however I know when it is necessary to let people i liked know that they are standing for something so harmful. You can't build your brand and career on people's support, turn around and run propaganda for AI. This is how shit like g*nocides get normalized, by using your favorite celebrities to run propaganda or advertise it as the 'new norm'. I liked him as an actor so I am even more disappointed that as a fellow artist he feels it's fine for AI to be used in art spaces.

if critiquing your own fav is hate than sure! AI replacing jobs and him being 'cool' about it while calling humans inferior to AI progression is EXACTLY what AI companies want to market so that you like many other gullible ppl will eat up.
AI will kill jobs, but I think people will create new never seen jobs We are in a transition era.Humans will always…
So you think it's fair for ANYONE to spend time and money on art just for it to be plagiarized by AI and you just have to 'suck it up' ?? this is such a dumb take.
The Chinese seem to be so very welcoming of AI. Is it because of their decreasing birth rates ? so AI can replace them as well ?? It's kind of crazy how he doesn't seem to 'keep up' with the times by understanding exactly how bad data center's effects are on the environment and how it replaces the integrity of human art.
I was wondering how romance ever gonna enter into their relationship organically, turns out they took the alcohol route. Alcohol-kun strikes again lmao. Ya'll better drinking less mannn. It feels like i was played for expecting a mutual romantic development but oh well, wtv i guess...
Don't think so. It is animated. A different style is used which makes it look like AI. Don't think tvN would stoop…
but the animation isn't even consistent with the baby character's looks. i can understand they just went the general route, but they could've just made that intro with the actual child actor instead of animation imo.

yes i agree with your points!! I think 20years ago the kdrama industry was still making shows that the local audience will be more familiar with and find entertainment in. I think globalisation has also led to stories being either dumbed down or made easy to digest. This is why I've been trying to watch more early 2000s or 2010s shows. it's not easy to find them subbed these days but I'm glad some are still preserved. I'm not very optimistic that we'll see a change in the industry soon but we might have occasional 'mydearest's that surprise me.
Wasn't the drama already convoluted enough and dare i say kinda original ? Another body swap plot out of nowhere?...…
I AGREE AGH !! kdrama writers have been recycling the same plots and formulas of previous success hoping for another big hit but they keep making things that a shell with nothing inside. I find quite a lot of stories are missing their core or essence. I started this originally because of how similar it was to 'Knight flower' that drama was a very fun watch for me so i thought maybe this wont be so bad but....the politics are not really that complex and the story itself isnt much i'd worry missing out on.

telling wise. oh how I wish kdrama writers ACTUALLY worked on plots of historical shows 😩🫩
