Overall I did enjoy this drama, but I do believe it got a bit worse and draggy in the second part (bandit arc). Especially since they fridged female lead, and didn't even bother to show her in last episode?? I was kinda disappointed. I also thought that Tan'Er and Ning Yi could be really fun power couple, but all in all she just followed his lead and plans, without much input except to do things he told her to do. She was set at the beginning to be very smart and talented, sadly we couldn't see much of it. And yeah, I can't believe I had to watch uncle and cousin duo get more screen time in second half than Tan'Er. Kinda weird way to treat your female lead.
Other than that, I really liked this drama! It was very fun to watch, especially fiirst part, when they were estabilishing the shops and restaurants. Not every drama needs court stuff to be entertaining. Most characters are well written. And I would definitely recommend this drama.
