I am sooo late to this, but I remember reading this post a year and a half ago while doing research of Sigma too. At that time I didn't even know what mydramalist was, and oh it stuck with me. I have ASD and one of my special interests is Sisyphus: The Myth, that's why. And, i've finally searched enough again to find this post again, with an account, lol!
I loved the way you analized Sigma's character, he's my absolute favorite since I first watched the series and he's still stuck with me. At first I was disappointed to see that there was barely any talk around this character, but this made me incredibly happy because, yes, even if this is fiction after all he's a really complex character. Answering some of your questions, personally Sigma is both a victim and a perpetrator. His actions doesn't justify his past, but I believe he's a product of his own reflection, in a way where there was barely anything that could've made him retract himself from starting the war. Sadly, while he was a child, and I think you mentioned this, is that the only thing that could take him away from his world of destruction, abuse and chaos was Tae-Sul himself, so technically we should blame Tae-Sul... Right? Well, honestly, Tae-Sul wasn't really aware of his surroundings, so there's nobody to blame, really..

Okay, Cho Seung-Woo is my second favorite actor ever and I'm really excited about this. I absolutely love this premise and this is DEFINITELY my type of favorite drama, but I'm really upset that they keep casting Lee Kyung-Young as main lead or just casting him at all. It really makes my blood boil just watching him on screen i cannot stand it!!!
Oh, I'm absolutely delighted so far. The actors work is amazing and the fighting scenes are just chef's kiss. I will patiently wait for the next episodes. This already seems amazing!
