Really felt like I am back to 2016
I'd like to start off this this by saying that I've been in a kdrama slump for a while now and to say that this kdrama hooked me is an understatement. Eventhough there are mixed reviews, I think going in blind was the best thing I did, because now It became one of my favorite kdrama in a village/countryside setting.Ep1 took off and the opening part was very interesting enough to hook me but I think what really sold me was the cinematography of the village scenes and the humor of the show.
Overall it felt like I was back to the 2016 era of kdrama in a way? It had a complete story (no plotholes), a mix of genres I love (romcom and thriller/action all in one) and amazing cast supporting characters and all. Also first time I enjoyed an amnesia plotline.

One of the prettiest kdrama to watch visually
WOW where do i even begin?This cinematography in this kdrama is everything, they make it so effortless romantic and pleasing to watch since the very first episode what caught my eye the most was the atmosphere this show was able to capture.
Not to mention the 10/10 OST, part of the reason that finally pushed me to watch this show was the song "Love Language" in the OST its just so beautiful and vibey to listen to, in my opinion I think the OST made the watch that much better for me.
Now for the story, honestly, when this drama initially aired, I kinda knew some of setup of the story when it came to the first episode especially, that our female lead, Cha Muhee, becomes a famous actress overnight but for some reason can see Do Remi which is the character she played due to some unknown reason. It felt interesting to me but at the time I left to watch it later and Im glad I did that.
Also I disagree with the opinion I was seeing of how after episode 8 or 9 when the story shifted tones it was out of place because to me it made sense considering Cha Muhee's character arc and how she was feeling mentally (trying not to spoil alot here)
While reviewing the plot still, I loveeeeddd the whole getaway show that was going in the story, you rarely get to see something like that in kdrama, the whole visiting other countries was so cool to me. This in the plot it also makes sense since our male lead is an interpreter, which btw Kim Seonho did such a good job with the his role too i loved him here. I am also happy to see Go Younjung get the recognition she deserves, she played both Cha Muhee and Do Remi's characters soo well and you can clearly see when she switches, it was very cool. I cant believe there is an age gap of 10 between the actors irl how is he 40?? thats crazy, but also I never felt the age gap while watching so I doubt its an issue anyway.
Overall, I think it was a really great watch, I would highly recommend it, though do watch it with a bit of an open mind because even though I really liked it, I think some might dislike her other persona and because some of the push and pull our leads do, this drama might not be for everyone.
I personally think I understood the push and pull dynamic that was happening with the FL and ML when it kinda clicked that we were seeing an avoidant and an anxious attachment types, so you do get some frustration as the audience but at the same time these characters cant help it they are on opposite ends of how they are in relationships it wasn't until one of them tried understanding the other's "language" that they finally clicked which fits the narrative of the show hence the title, but again not everyone might like that. So basically just give it a shot, you wont regret it :)
