I'm not a fan of anyone. I've been watching Chinese dramas for a long time. This one is really weak after a third of the way through. Why cover it up? I don't understand why ratings are often based on fandom for certain actors or actresses. One actress I like for her acting, for example, is Wu Jinyan, but that doesn't mean I don't point out the weak films she's starred in. For example, The Double is a great film, but the director must to make one decision: either go with one ending or another. But I'll say it again: it's a great film. But her other film, Kill Me, Love Me, is complete garbage, and again because of the script. It starts off interesting, but then it's like the writers are on drugs. Speaking of the subject, watch Lanya's List - it's the same idea, yes, with fewer effects, but a very strong film and script.

So if I registered a new account and wrote a glowing review, you wouldn't consider me a troll? ))) L-logic. ))

I don't understand why this drama has such a high rating. The beginning is great and the first third is quite good, but then it feels like the screenwriter forgot about the first third of the film and the characters' personalities. The characters suddenly become dumb, start acting out of character, and it all irritates me right up until the final episodes. I don't know, for me, based on the huge hype (I was really looking forward to it too) and expectations, this drama is the failure of the year.

The stupidity here lies more in leaving the villainous brother alive, despite the clear evidence against him. But that's the case in many other dramas, where the heroes always "pity" the villains so they can fight them in the final episodes. An example: Liu Yu Ning's recent excellent drama "Prisoner of Beauty." The main villain is responsible for the deaths of people, plotted against the clan, and schemed to get others killed. What more could she possibly have done to be killed? But in memory of her brother, the protagonist lets her go so she can continue her atrocities. Her ending was also interesting. After so many murders and deaths caused by her, she was given a merciful ending—she killed herself. The good general was hacked to pieces, then hanged, while the crazy villain met a noble death. So-so.

Regarding the illogicality of siding with the villain at the council. Well, they're already fed up with the main character's father. Especially since he doesn't listen to them and doesn't fulfill their whims. That's the whole answer. It's perfectly logical. He irritates them, they're against it, but they can't do anything about it. And then the father's brother shows up and offers them this opportunity. Bingo! It's not about the arguments. They're just idiotic and formal. The main thing for them was to oust the boss they'd grown tired of, using the same arguments they've always had. That's all. It's all over the place.
